Just as I was getting the hang of the lumbar roll, C-19 waltzes in with a big huge massively disruptive and sad spanner in the wheels. I am not really complaining, there are things that REALLY matter, and this isn’t one of them. However, manual therapy is not something you can learn online. So I will have to refocus my slightly panicking mind toward knuckling down on neuroscience, biomechanics, research and a few long-delayed essays!!!

So this photo is of my first meaningful attempt at feeling my way through a lumbar roll high velocity low amplitude thrust. It is definitely
work in progress and feeling the bind is not yet happening for me. As long as I keep my posture decent, my body receptive to proprioceptive and palpating feedback, the rest will follow with practice (apparently!) 😂
