The quiet time at the end of the working day is more important than we realise.
After a day of meetings, decisions, and problem-solving, we all need a way to switch off—not just physically, but mentally.
For me, it’s the allotment. Time spent with my hands in the soil, hearing birds instead of notifications, and letting the day settle. It’s not about productivity—it’s about presence.
Whatever your version of this looks like—reading, walking, meditating, cooking—I think it’s essential. It helps us show up better tomorrow.
Would love to hear where you go to unwind.
