They are dissatisfied and, in many cases, perplexed as to how they arrived at that place. Taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is extremely important though. Any emotion you are experiencing at the time is true and should be respected, but it may not be telling you the truth. Instead of thinking of an emotion as an exclamation point or a full stop, think of it this way: Angry! Sad - A fact that motivates you to take action – I'm upset, thus he's a jerk. Consider it as a question mark. A chance to delve deeper into oneself to figure out what's going on. Anger? Sadness? Hmm. I'm curious as to what's going on. I'm not sure what I believe about this. I'm curious as to what they believe. I'm curious as to why they did what they did.
Live your emotions in the moment that they are there but don't let them run your life like a marathon.
