What’s hiding in your breakfast cereal could be harming your health. In today’s world of processed foods, additives are ubiquitous.

These substances, while extending shelf life, enhancing flavours, and giving foods appealing textures, have also raised serious health concerns.

This is particularly alarming when it comes to children’s diets, urging us to be more cautious about what we consume.

Breakfast cereals, a household staple, are often a surprising source of harmful additives. Big-name brands have recently come under scrutiny for loading their cereals with artificial ingredients, sugars, and preservatives that could potentially do more harm than good for both adults and children.

Over the last 5 years I have seen a huge rise in both children and adults, across the world on our Rejuv tele-consults, being diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. I’m a firm believer the additives in our food plus the pesticides and glyphosate are wreaking havoc on our gut and therefore our brains too.

Nature heals and it doesn’t matter if you have the sea and dessert like my beautiful or mountains & Forrest’s etc of your home land.

The negative ions of the earth help reset your electrical circuits & therefore your mind, body and spirit.

Waking with the sunrise will also help reset your circadian rhythms & help your serration levels so you feel happier & about to self regulate better to your environment.

So at least once a week get into nature & if you can’t at least buy some epsom salts & have a full bath or foot bath 💙.

It’s another Mega Moon so a perfect time over the next month to think about a cleanse.

As the seasons shift, our bodies naturally transition, making it the perfect time to start a seasonal cleanse. The food in Fiji, celebrating my parents exciting miles stones, has been so delicious! 😋

Fijian cuisine, with its exotic and vibrant flavours, often incorporates fresh, whole ingredients and herbs, which are excellent for immune health.

I therefore felt it would be fun to share a Fijian Recipe with you packed full of immune boosting ingredients. I made this vegetarian 🌱 but you can also add wild or organic animal protein if your choice.

Let’s take a look at why this recipe is a naturopathic powerhouse;

1️⃣ Turmeric contains curcumin, a potent anti-inflammatory compound that boosts immune function and helps fight off pathogens. I personally find it hard to eat turmeric most days so once a week I incorporate into my diet but the other days I take our organic turmeric capsules.

2️⃣Ginger & Garlic: These ingredients are natural antibiotics and antiviral agents, essential for fighting infections and reducing inflammation.

3️⃣Coconut Milk: Rich in healthy fats, especially lauric acid, which has antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.

4️⃣Leafy Greens: High in antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and immune-supporting minerals such as magnesium and iron.

5️⃣Cilantro: A detoxifying herb that helps eliminate heavy metals from the body, promoting overall immune health.

🪸 Thanks for all the DM’s asking about what supplements I travel with.

🪸I keep it simple to be honest and I pack specific supplements to support my gut, immune system, skin, eyes & detox pathways.

1️⃣ Immune Restore Capsules to support my immune system especially when taking a flight to a different country.

2️⃣ Digestive Support capsules for I want to be able to eat some treat foods & so my gut can handle rich foods. Also I can eat sushi & not get parasites & salads and not get any tummy bugs for I’m not used to the local water

3️⃣ Apple Cider burn to support my blood sugar levels, keep my metabolism working well so I stay lean, especially if having some rich celebratory foods and drinks.

4️⃣ Antioxidant Capsules to protect my eyes, hair and skin from increased sun exposure. These plant based ingredients including Moringa, Açaí Berry , Resveratrol and Grape Seed Extract are power houses in preventing sunburn & free radical damage.
