We're looking for a Part-Time Nutritionist to join our Wellness team.
Position Overview:
As part of the expansion of our well-being service, we are looking to recruit a part-time Nutritionist at our medical centre based in central London. As a valued member of our professional medical team, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients making informed dietary choices, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their health and wellness goals. You will provide personalised nutrition assessments, create customised meal plans, and offer ongoing guidance to promote healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients.
- Develop personalised dietary plans tailored to individual needs, health goals, and dietary restrictions.
- Educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and its impact on overall health.
- Provide ongoing nutritional counselling and support to patients.
- Monitor and track patients' progress towards their dietary and health goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the medical centre to provide integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in nutrition science and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and organised patient records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a nutritionist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and dietary planning.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and holistic health principles.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The schedule can be negotiated to accommodate the right candidate's availability.
