A recent article published in highlights concerns about the life expectancy of people diagnosed with ADHD. Shockingly men with ADHD die on average 7 years earlier and women with ADHD die almost 9 years earlier compared to similar people without ADHD. The study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry also highlights the under-diagnosis of ADHD & recommends investment into the mental health sector.
