I have a particular specialism (not to mention keen interest) in reversing the negative long- term effects of stress, and how that impacts on establishing and maintain optimal health with individuals from all walks of life, including business executives, those experiencing long-term or chronic illness and disease, and high-performing athletes. Part of the UK’s founding group of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association of America, 2002. Youngest ever recipient of a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award from the Register for Exercise Professionals, 2003. A large majority of clients come to me having been unsuccessful pursuing conventional medical treatments and who are looking for a science-based, cutting edge approach to health care. In 2004 graduated from the Institute for Functional Medicine in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice. In 2013 was in the first cohort group (worldwide) to be awarded Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner status. Considered by the Institute for Functional Medicine as a Clinical Innovator. In 2016 Completed Bredesen Training for treating cognitive decline at Buck Institute California. I am part of a collaborative clinician group in the UK delivering this comprehensive personalised programme to help increase cognition and reverse cognitive decline.
