This is an interesting article and link. When Dr Gupta saw the specialist one of the preventative recommendations was improving foot strength and flexibility which is something I include in my yoga for dementia book. He also talks about the importance of spinal strength and health which we also cover in yoga.

What an inspiring story. Nina shows how important it is to find a passion when you are older to keep those neurons firing together. It’s all about healthy activities that challenge us physically and mentally :-)

Love this inspiration video. Don’t be conditioned by your age. Also the more new things, particularly challenging physical skills and coordination, we can do in our middle years the more likely we are to keep our minds healthy and supple :-)
