We are seeking a kind and reliable Live-In Carer to support an older lady who is mostly bedbound but has capacity and enjoys companionship and routine.

This is a family-supported live-in care role suited to someone living locally.
- The client’s family provides daytime care between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, so you’ll be off-site during those hours and return each evening.
- You will live in continuously from 5pm on Friday until 9am on Monday, providing full weekend care.
- The family also provides two hours of relief each weekend so you can take a short break.

You’ll work on a two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rotation, ensuring continuity for the client while supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Schedule:
- Live-in from 5pm Friday to 9am Monday
- Off-site Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Two hours’ per day weekend relief provided by family

Experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Enhanced DBS (preferred)

Main Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, toileting, and safe mobility assistance.
- Support with evening meals, hydration, and medication (training provided).
- Offer companionship and reassurance in a calm, respectful way.
- Monitor wellbeing and provide overnight support (sleeping night).
- Keep accurate digital records using Birdie.
- Liaise with the family and management for ongoing review and support.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Lives locally, allowing them to be off-site weekdays 9am–5pm.
- Has previous experience in live-in or domiciliary care.
- Is kind, patient, and confident in supporting older people.
- Holds the right to work in the UK and a current enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
- Can commit to a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

We are looking for a short-term self-employed live-in carer to support one of our female clients in the Nottinghamshire area.

This is a 2-week placement starting October 3rd, supporting an independent elderly lady in Southwell following her recent hospital discharge.

The role will include companionship, medication administration and assistance in getting up and down (in and out of bed etc).

We are looking for someone with excellent English, as the client is hard of hearing. No driving license is required, as the location is central to the town centre. The role will pay £900 per week.
