Because for trauma survivors, self-care isn’t self-indulgent. It’s survival.
Sometimes, self-care means:
Cancelling plans.
Holding a boundary.
Turning off your phone.
Getting out in nature.
Saying “no” to what’s familiar but harmful.
Saying “yes” to showing up for yourself.
