We are looking for someone to provide admin support on our year-long **Menstrual Medicine** programme.

This is a beautiful opportunity for someone who feels called to deepen their relationship with the menstrual cycle while supporting the behind-the-scenes flow of the programme.

In exchange for administrative support throughout the year, we are offering a place on the full Menstrual Medicine online programme called The Home Journey.

You might be a good fit if you:
• feel passionate about menstrual wisdom and cyclical living
• enjoy organisation and gentle admin tasks
• are reliable, communicative and supportive of group spaces
• feel called to walk this year-long journey with us

You can be based anywhere in the world :)

Tasks may include things like helping with updating Eventbrite, being creating on Canva (we have some templates already set up), loading recordings onto Vimeo and Youtube, organising session reminders.

Training is provided.

This role would suit someone who is organised, heart-led and excited to be immersed in this work.

If this speaks to you, please send us a DM or email with a little about yourself and why you feel called to this role.

We can’t wait to welcome the right person into this journey. 🌙

Nicola and Nikki

What Is a Rite of Passage?

A rite of passage is when we transition from one group/role/identity to another. A threshold you cross and can never uncross. A shift in identity, body, or soul that marks a before and an after.

Some rites are loud while some are quiet. Some are celebrated while many are carried in silence and shame.

All of them teach us how our family, community and wider society value our new role/identity.

A rite of passage is not just an event it’s a transformation and they happen whether or not we mark them.

If you would like to explore this more, tomorrow I will be holding a session exploring some of the physical rites of passage females go through;

-Menarche
-First Sexual Experience
-Creation
-Menopause

The call is Saturday 14th March 10am to 1pm UK time.

This session forms part of our year-long programme

You can book via eventbrite - dm me for the link :)

Happy Friday 13th goddesses!

Don’t let the old story trick you - Friday 13th is not unlucky. In fact, it’s a very sacred, feminine day for lots of reasons. Let’s take a look:

There are;

13 New moons in a lunar year
13 Full moons in a lunar year
13 Menstrual cycles in a lunar year
13 days from new moon to full moon
13 days from full moon to new moon
13 days from bleed/period to ovulation (average)
13 days from ovulation to bleed/period (average)

Friday is day of the goddess Fraya - the Norse goddess of love, fertility, and beauty.

In old English, Friday means F***g. F***g, or F***ga, was both Queen Asgard and a sky goddess in Norse mythology. She was associated with love, marriage and motherhood.

Why is this day now deemed unlucky?

As Christianity gained momentum in the Middle Ages, its leaders did not allow the worship of multiple gods and goddesses. At the same time the celebration of Friday, the number 13, and the goddesses who invoked love, s*x, fertility, magic and pleasure were considered unholy.

Do you see the number 13 anywhere else? Or in fact not see it - on planes and tall buildings they have been known not to include a 13th row or floor. Have you read anything else/different about the history of Friday 13th? Leave a comment!

Let’s reclaim this sacred feminine day and break the cycle of stamping out what is ours to celebrate.

There are many period products available now, compared to when I was a teen and young woman.

We now have a good selection of Reusable and Disposal products available to us.

You may be surprised to hear that reusable products have been around for….wel forever.

They then fell out of popularity when “convenient” disposables came along. Disposables offer an easy to access, affordable option for most. The trouble with them is they are disposable, so are binned after one use (ending up in landfill) and they often contain chemicals and other harmful substances.

Reusables on the other hand, have come on leaps and bounds since the cloths & rags our ancestors used. We now have pads, pants, cups, discs, sponges and even swimwear within reach. No longer do we have to choose between swimming and using a tampon. Brilliant! Many top brands also offer teen ranges too ❤️ the downside to reusable products is the initial outlay cost, it is high than disposables but in the long run they work out to be the same price or cheaper in many incidences.

Let me know what your favourite product(s) are in the comments! I am a bit fan of Cheeky period pants.

Imbolc blessings

The wheel of the year turns and today marking Imbolc and Brigid’s Day. The beginning of spring, the transition of dark to light and the season of the Maiden.

Imbolc, marking the half way point between winter solstice and spring equinox, is the first fire festival in the Celtic calendar and the word ‘Imbolc’ translates to “in the belly of the mother” in Old Irish referring to spring seeds expanding in Mother Earth and the pregnant ewes at this time of year. You too are a seed of this new earth cycle, full of potential and beginning to stir.

Imbolc marks the beginning of spring celebrated by the ancient Celtics. You will notice the subtle signs of spring as you head out on walks. Snowdrops and daffodils are pushing their way through the soil to reach the air, birds are busy weaving their nests and light & heat are retuning.

Imbolc belongs to Goddess Brigid (aka Saint Brigid) Goddess Brigid is known across the Celtic communities for her fire, poetry, healing, fertility, birth, crafts and learning. As the maiden, Brigid represents the awakening earth.

As a Goddess of healing Brigid saw over the waterways as their guardian and protected. Across the lands of Ireland you can find several sacred wells of Brigid. The people of Ireland weave Brigid Crosses to protect them from fire and evil.

Ways to celebrate Imbolc & Honour Goddess Brigid
- Cleanse your space/home
- Light candles to celebrate the returning light
- Write poetry
- Craft a Brigid Cross
- Go out in nature
- Spend time near water
- Journal your seeds for the forthcoming harvest
- Share a meal with loved ones
