Living in London can be demanding and we can easily lose ourselves and our energy in the process. As a Raynor massage therapist, my primary focus is to find chronic residual tension in the body and release that stress out of the specific body part and out through the anchor points of the head, hands and feet. I generally use grapeseed oil with essential aromatherapy oils which can also help in all
eviating differing ailments such as stress, insomnia and headaches, to name a few. Having begun massaging in 2020, I've have had a number of satisfied clients and I am keen to continue to develop this gift. I also offer a head, hand and foot massage. This predominantly reflexology, treatment is helpful for clearing blocked energy and is very relaxing. My flat in Fulham I am based 2 mins walk from Fulham Broadway Tube Station and the easiest way to book is to Whatsapp me, Sean, on 07847 762124. I'm presently available on Fridays from 3pm-6pm and Saturday's from 1pm-9pm. Raynor Naturopathic Massage (RNM) is a system of bodywork developed by Australian trained naturopath Brandon Raynor. RNM treats people in a holistic manner covering the muscular, skeletal and subtle energy systems of the body. Residual Tension means tension within a persons body when their body is at rest. This residual tension can originate from emotions or stress in addition to physical wear and tear. Eastern medical theories that the physical body is a gross manifestation of the subtle body composed of life force, emotions and other subtle energies. A blockage or disruption in the flow of chi (energy) or prana (breath) will cause the physical body to become tight, sore or forced out of position in the case of bones. In RNM we believe that tension originates in the hands, head and feet. Other key areas of residual tension include the sacrum, hips, head and abdomen. By releasing tension in these areas this will impact on the rest of the body. A bit about me : Having arrived in London from Edinburgh in 2009, as a black sheep, homeless, and struggling with mental ill heath and substance abuse issues, I didn't foresee much hope for the future and had attempted suicide on three occasions. As an ex-airman with the RAF, I initially found myself in a homeless hostel in East London before moving into temporary accommodation for 3 and half years up to 2013, where I finally moved into my own flat, here in Chelsea, where I continue to live. Recovering from mental ill health and substance abuse addiction has given me opportunities to increasingly accept the shadow aspect of myself and those around me with an understanding that comes from experience. I recently ran my third ultra marathon and maintaining good health and wellbeing is important to me. In 2022, I received a very late diagnosis for Autism (2022) and ADD, (2024) and this new awareness has helped me to understand why I have struggled with the disease of addiction which stemmed from being an outsider in social contexts with both peers and family. As a neurodivergent adult, I am learning of my gifts including being a peace-loving person who likes to impart hope to people and who finds fulfilment when close to nature, animals and friends who are on their own path of healing. Whilst here in London I have done a Certificate and Diploma of Raynor Massage and a NVQ Level 2 in Mental Health Care and have learnt to make it my primary focus to provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space for you, the client. Please note I wont bring any of the above issues up during the massage treatment. I am, of course, available to discuss anything that you might want to share but remember I'm not a trained counsellor and will respond only from my limited experience. You may prefer to totally step back from the over-active brain and be quiet. taking in the aroma of the essential oils and gentle music. - But, of course, the choice is yours, it's your time. Feel free to get in touch!
