Sometimes people ask me, “Why would I need therapy if nothing’s really wrong?”
And honestly, that’s a great question. Therapy can seem expensive, strange, uncomfortable, or even unnecessary — especially when there’s no crisis, no clear “reason” to start.
But here’s the truth many clients discover only after they’ve tried:
Something subtle shifts. You can’t always explain it, but you feel it — a sense of inner space, of being more yourself. Therapy often turns out to be one of the best investments you can make in your own growth. Better than new clothes, a gym membership, or the next online course — because the change happens from the inside out.
Growth in therapy isn’t linear or predictable. It’s about gently looking into the parts of yourself that you usually avoid — the guilt, the anxiety, the shame, the fear — and finding new ways to hold and understand them.
Life moves fast, and we rarely pause to reflect. In therapy, you finally get that space — with someone who helps notice, name, and explore what’s happening inside you. Awareness that happens with another person can deepen, expand, and heal in ways that are hard to do alone.
So if you’ve been curious about trying psychotherapy, I warmly invite you to reach out.
I work in the Gestalt approach, and I also integrate body-oriented, emotionally focused, and transactional analysis methods — to create a process that’s alive, personal, and meaningful.
I’m a MA in Psychology, a counselling therapist, and a member of BACP and EAGT.
I offer sessions in person in London (Wimbledon & Angel) and online.
If this resonates with you — let’s talk.
It might just be the beginning of something truly important.
