In a collaborative effort to spark meaningful conversations, KYN partnered with psychologist Honey Langcaster-James to create a set of 21 questions designed to foster genuine, heartfelt connections. Honey is a prominent and insightful psychologist who brings her expertise to the forefront of meaningful human interactions. Her partnership with KYN aims to bridge the gap between generations and encourage profound dialogues.

Our stories are precious - they tell who we are, capture our past experiences, connections, interests and values. By knowing a person’s story, we learn what makes them tick.

Before a resident moves into KYN we start to build our understanding of their story - past, present and future. Asking about early life memories, the qualities our residents admire in the people around them, and who is important to them can be particularly revealing. This helps our team honour each resident’s identity fostering dignity as well as respectful familiarity.
