This evening at KYN Bickley, our Executive Chef Tristan Welch welcomed residents and guests to an evening of cocktails, canapés and conversation, sharing his love of food.

Tristan’s journey has taken him from the kitchens of Gary Rhodes and Michel Roux Jr. to Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus, where he played a pivotal role in the restaurant achieving two Michelin stars. Today, he brings that same passion and expertise to KYN — creating menus that are as nourishing as they are delicious.

Meet Tracey, our Head Gardener. From Hurlingham to Bickley, she helps our gardens flourish — now full of autumn colour, with late roses, glowing red nandina leaves and clusters of bright orange pyracantha berries, bringing beauty and peace for everyone at the homes.

Every fortnight, Buds of Bickley join neighbouring care home KYN with armfuls of fresh flowers. Together, we spend the afternoon laughing, chatting and arranging bouquets, which then brighten residents’ bedrooms and shared spaces — a tradition that continues to bring joy long after the workshop ends.
