Hi my name is Sherri and I am a personal trainer, nutritional advisor, running coach and fitness instructor. My story starts back when I used to want to be a fashion model and I suffered with body dysmorphia, so I tried every diet under the sun to get thin. After a lot of research I became aware of what worked and what didnt very quickly. In the winter of 2014 I started to have health problems tha

t made me look at the way I approached food and health. I embarked on a positive health journey and never looked back! Doing a tough mudder and becoming qualified in Nutrition, it has given me a passion to help others conquer their poor relationships with food like I did all those years ago. Felt so good to do a strength Workout in the gym today!

I've been so inconsistent in the last 2 years with my training and I can really feel it looking at my running speeds and strength πŸ™ˆ

2025 is looking at getting back to my pre-covid running paces and continue getting stronger as I feel like the needle has moved but only slightly!

Hot yoga and reformer awaits me tomorrow 🫢🏾

Weekend cardio workout that I did on Saturday!

200 meter run
10 box jumps,
10 Burpees
10 Squat Jumps

4 rounds

I was short for time and less than 4 weeks until I do my first hyrox so I thought I would do some cardio!

In my video I was running at 14kmph but when I film, it makes me look like I'm running in slow motion πŸ˜‚

2 years apart!

Until I saw these pictures, I didn't realise how much in my life has changed in the last two yearsm.

Usually we expect things to change immediately especially when it comes to our fitness journey but we never look back to see how far we've come.

Whether you want to run a marathon, complete a hyrox, lose weight, get stronger or just start a consistent gym schedule, these things will take time to complete and see results.

So if you have started your fitness journey, just know that consistency is the key to great results.

And if you haven't started yet?

Well there's no time like the present:

🌟 Buy those running shoes
🌟 Download the recipe book
🌟 Join a running club
🌟 Take a tour around your local gym

The hardest part about starting your fitness journey is actually getting started. Think of where you want to be in two years... you can still be where you are now or where you actually want to be!

What I ate as a Vegan in Ibiza and my tips if you have dietary requirements but you sometimes struggle to find food when you're on holiday!

1) Research.... this can be tricky sometimes but there's a lot of information and blogs online

2) Bring your own food! I didn't know if the hotel for the v conference had vegan options so I bought bits to make sandwiches or add to salads

3) Be patient, positive and open minded. It might take you a little bit longer to find a restaurant that caters to your needs so try your best to look for something before you get hangry πŸ˜‚ (if you are with friends, make sure its an understanding group!)

4) If all else fails there's french fries πŸ˜†.... vegan, gluten and dairy free so at least there is 1 thing you can actually eat πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That's a wrap for IFS 2024!

A little bit different going to a conference and fitness summit in ibiza but I've listened to (and learnt from) some knowledgeable people this weekend. I've also met some amazing like-minded individuals in the fitness industry.

The weather at 8pm on the sprint lap tricked us into thinking it was gonna be a warm night so I was in a sports bra living my best life....lap 2, sports bra and cold obstacles....nearly killed me πŸ˜‚

Happy Monday!!

My Monday is technically a Thursday, so I'm coming to the end of a work week, but I really felt the positive vibes from all my classes today!

Also, it was great seeing everyone at the 1R staff meeting and doing a 2 minute parachute challenge (what else are trainers going to do at a meeting πŸ˜…)

I hope everyone has had a great Monday and let's rock and roll into the rest of the week 🀘🏾
