So beautiful and affirming to recieve these words from Su after our Womens Yoga Retreat on Heir Island, West Cork. We were a group of women from all walks of life spanning five decades. I’m still digesting.

Over to Su ♥️🙏🏽🌊

“ Hi to all my wild island sisters.
What a special few days we shared together in deep communion with one another and with our bodies.

We took our beautiful bodies to ‘the Island’ left ‘our footprints in the sand’ and ‘made love to (our fluid bodies) to the sound of’
…driven rain against the window pane!!

How blessed were we with the wild rainbow weather we were gifted!…

Then there were the two amazing women who held and nurtured us so beautifully over the course of the weekend (and are still holding us!)

Combine all this with breaking bread (and what sumptuous bread it was!) in Communion with 12 other soul sisters and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an AMAZING retreat.

My two words at the opening session were ‘Homecoming’ and ‘Safety’ and boy did I get both in spades! To come deeply home to our bodies is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves.

Thank you Lynn and Sara for holding and nurturing us so beautifully as we unfolded into our deepest knowing. And ye are still giving!

Thank you all for sharing the photos. They are a wonderful reminder of a very special weekend spent in the amazing company of empowered women.”

Blessings to all. 🙏

A truly great man who cared for and respected deeply women and babies. I was so lucky to have known him from the 90’s when he came many times to work with us and alongside Janet Balaskas at the Active Birth Centre. I adored listening to him talk about birth in all its power and beauty he believed deeply in women’s strength and ability to birth.

Today, I learned of the passing of Michel Odent — a true pioneer, healer, and visionary in the world of childbirth.

His work transformed the way we understand birth, returning it to something sacred, instinctive, and deeply human.

I was deeply honored to have met him at the and even more so to have photographed him.
In his presence, there was a quiet strength and wisdom — the kind that only comes from a lifetime of listening, learning, and honoring life at its very beginning.

Through his words and actions, Michel reminded the world that how we are born matters — and that every mother deserves respect, safety, and dignity.
His legacy will live on in every birth room touched by his philosophy, in every family empowered by his teachings, and in every gentle, instinctual beginning he helped restore.
Thank you, Michel, for everything.
Rest in peace.

If your near to or in County Cork do join us on the 10th September 10-1pm for a nourishing morning dedicated to exploring your pelvic wellbeing through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and deep rest. This is a gentle invitation to simply be, to meet yourself exactly where you are—especially during times of hormonal shifts such as your monthly cycles, the transition from pregnancy into motherhood, or the journey through menopause and its pre- and post-stages.

For me, this work begins in the core of our being—our pelvic and womb spaces—where so many stories are held. These may be ancestral, birth-related, or rooted in challenging—or even absent—mother relationships. Such experiences can leave imprints of emotional, psychological, or physical trauma, including pelvic floor dysfunction after birth.

Reconnecting with the pelvic diaphragm through embodied practices allows women to regain strength, presence, and confidence in their bodies, empowering them to fully engage in life’s transitions with ease and awareness.

All will be weaved into our yoga —an intuitive and fluid form of movement, informed and inspired by somatic practices and the wonderful teachings of Vanda Scaravelli—that are more attuned to a woman’s body.

All of this within a supportive circle of women, creating space to reflect and, if you wish, share insights or experiences. We will close our session with a period of deep rest.

If you have any questions DM me, to book contact

Cost: €45 (concessions available—just ask)

In my three decades of working with mothers I have listened to so many stories of birth & mothering. This one has made my heart ache.

Read and share this letter from one mother in Gaza to all of us. Let us all find ways to support the mothers of Gaza in solidarity. ♥️🕊️🇵🇸

Pelvic Love Session

Join us for a nourishing morning dedicated to exploring your pelvic wellbeing through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and deep rest. This is a gentle invitation to simply be, to appreciate how doing less can often bring more, and to meet yourself exactly where you are—especially during times of hormonal shifts such as your monthly cycles, the transition from pregnancy into motherhood, or the journey through menopause and its pre- and post-stages.

Together, we will explore the pelvis and our relationship to this core area of the body, including the so-called pelvic floor. Deepening this connection can foster a greater sense of self-awareness and support the womb space that holds our stories. This will be weaved into our yoga —an intuitive and fluid form of movement, informed and inspired by somatic practices and the wonderful teachings of Vanda Scaravelli—that are more attuned to a woman’s body. This therapeutic approach supports the nervous system and helps cultivate healthier patterns within the body by ‘joining up the dots’ and restoring a sense of overall wellbeing.

All of this within a supportive circle of women, we will pause for a warm drink and something nourishing, creating space to reflect and, if you wish, share insights or experiences. We will close our session with a period of deep rest.

Cost: €45 (concessions available—just ask).

As always no photos of the wonderful women who gathered with me on Saturday in Frome for my ~ Our Bodies Ourselves: Somatic Yoga & Women’s Circle for all women at all stages of Life.

The photos of the beautiful space were taken once I’d cleared the space at the end of the day and was preparing to leave. We explored grounding and finding balance by letting go of
