NM’s Accreditation in Switzerland 🇨🇭

CNM has graduates from different corners of the world who successfully build their careers and practice either in their home countries or move abroad. This is because CNM Diplomas are accredited in multiple countries around the globe which allows practitioners to perform their duties without restrictions!🥳

Each country has its own accreditation, especially in the field of Natural Therapies.

For example, CNM courses in Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, and Naturopathy are accredited in Switzerland, and after graduation, you will be able to apply for EMR (Erfahrungs Medizinisches Register) membership.

Erfahrungs Medizinisches Register (Switzerland) awards a quality label in the field of complementary and alternative medicine and naturopathy. The label is intended to guarantee that the therapists have completed appropriate training in their field of complementary medicine and are undergoing regular further training.

In addition, CNM’s diploma courses are approved by the IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the EU. This means you can work and build a career in Switzerland after finishing the training with CNM!

You can find out more about the accreditation by joining us on the 26 of August for CNM’s International Open Day.

CNM HELPS ME SEE MYSELF AS A PRACTITIONER ALREADY 💕

Please meet our Herbal Medicine student – Ioana Parasca – and enjoy her story and personal experience that she kindly agreed to share with us👇🏻

“What I especially love about CNM’s course is that it is well-designed, transparent and the teachers explain the topics very well. I love the video lectures! It helps me to understand! People here are kind and friendly.”🥰

“CNM is a lovely place to be! Teachers are very well prepared. They make the lectures very interesting; they explain the subject very well. Along with herbal medicine, I would love to study nutrition and homeopathy as well.”

“I wanted to further my studies and from studying medical conditions, clinical psychology, psychiatry, and so on during my special education needs degree, it was just one step up to considering natural medicine studies. I remember that I asked a lot of questions when I first called CNM and got answers to all of them, like the fact that the diploma is recognised in many European countries, what I’m going to study is a natural medicine and I will be able to work in clinics after graduation or even better, to have my own clinic at some point in the future.”

“I also liked the subjects that I was told that I’ll study during the years and of course the consultant’s enthusiasm. Having started at CNM I found the impact that nature has on the human body and mind amazing and this is why I got into natural therapies. I also liked the college very much! It was like: wow!” 🤩

“I expect to change my life a lot! CNM helps me see myself as a practitioner already! When I qualify, I plan to work as a practitioner and write books about herbal medicine.”

Spend a minute reading Valentina Urbinati’s feedback () — CNM’s Naturopathic Nutrition Graduate, who is now practicing abroad and specialises in women’s health and fertility🤗

“Desperation led me into the world of nutrition and functional medicine. I went to study for a three-year program at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.🥺

“CNM was recommended to me by my friend, who at that time was already a successful practitioner, operating her own clinic. So I got to see an example of a highly sought-after nutritionist who has helped many clients.”

“Education at CNM opened my eyes to the wonderful world of our bodies. While studying biomedicine in my first year, I admired how perfectly and harmoniously our bodies are.”

“My husband and I changed our diet, lifestyle, started consuming supplements and herbs to match our genetics, and a long-awaited miracle happened. I received my diploma already in the seventh month of pregnancy. And very soon our healthy and beautiful baby Francesco was born.”

“Studying at CNM was difficult, but at the same time incredibly interesting. Not at all like learning “because you have to”. I worked full-time during my pregnancy, but the idea of a new profession gave me a lot of strength and energy. Now the clients are queuing for two months in advance to have a consultation with me.”

“My advice to those who are thinking of studying to be a nutritionist - do not be afraid of anything! Only you can change your life!” 💪🏻

18/07/2023

Whether you train to become a Naturopathic Nutritionist, Herbalist, or Health Coach, your first year at CNM will always begin with Biomedicine. So why is that?

💉The aim of Biomedicine is to get students to understand how the body functions, most common diseases, medical diagnostics, differential diagnostics, and red flag symptoms. This way a future practitioner understands medical conditions, especially dangerous ones, and can decide what they can treat and when to refer to a specialist.

During the Biomedicine year at CNM, we cover Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology of all body systems, Oncology, Pharmacology, Drug interactions, and Infectious diseases. 🦠

Biomedicine provides the essential foundation for naturopathic practitioners to understand the physiological, biochemical, and anatomical aspects of the human body. It teaches about the structure, function, and interconnection between organs, tissues, and systems in the body. Delving into the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind diseases such as genetic factors and biochemical imbalances helps naturopathic practitioners identify the root causes of the illnesses and develop targeted treatment plans.🔖

In addition, studying biomedicine at CNM involves integrating natural and conventional medicine. Biomedicine provides a common language for communication and collaboration among healthcare providers.

Understanding biomedicine and its principles allows naturopathic practitioners to work alongside healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive and integrated patient care.

By combining the principles of naturopathic medicine with a solid foundation in biomedicine, students gain a comprehensive understanding of human health and healing. They become skilled practitioners who can offer personalised and evidence-based care to their patients.

17/07/2023

Rosanna Davison () — "Miss World 2003", "Miss Ireland 2003", actress, singer, model, author of best-selling books, and CNM’s Graduate, qualified to become a Certified Nutritional Therapist. It was a pleasure to have Rosanna with us at CNM and she kindly shared her story and feedback👇🏻

“Ever since being a child, my mother's interest in healthy lifestyles and alternative therapies has been a great inspiration to me. She grew her own fruits and vegetables and taught me the importance of basing my diet on whole, unprocessed foods.”

“I have been a vegetarian since the age of 14 for ethical reasons, and after a while, I noticed an increase in my energy level, my immune system strengthened, and the state of my health was great, with an increased intake of plant foods and quality sources of plant protein.”

“The constant search for nutritional information led me to CNM. Based on knowledge and practice, I have focused on adding to my diet plenty of fresh whole fruits and vegetables, lots of greens, seeds, and soaked nuts, gluten-free legumes and cereals, coconut, and almond milk, supplements, and vitamins that are optimal for my body.”💪🏻

“I started feeling amazing!”

“My energy levels skyrocketed, every morning I was waking up full of energy, my skin looked smoother, my physical health and muscle tone improved, and during the infamous flu and cold season, I managed to avoid all symptoms. The most interesting thing is that I also noticed positive changes in my mental health.”

“I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to study at CNM!”😍

“And now I can inspire people to change their eating habits based on what I learned. For most people, it's a matter of rethinking their deeply ingrained relationship with food and nutrition and realising that a balanced diet can literally change their lives.”

Want to inspire people and help them to overcome health problems the way Rosanna does? Come to our online Open Evening on Wednesday, 19 July at 5 PM UK time to find out all about CNM courses we provide online and ask our consultant about anything related to the studies. Gabriele Dargyte () from Vilnius, Lithuania is CNM’s Graduate who has become a holistic Health Coach specialising in hormonal health.

“My whole life I was health conscious because of my mother’s input. But since I started modelling at 16 years old, my job has become to care for my body and mind. BANANA & SOUR CHERRY MUFFINS 🧁

Here is a recipe for an exciting weekend – mouth-watering banana and sour cherry muffins!

Bananas, flaxseeds, and spelt are all sources of tryptophan, providing the building blocks for serotonin production, and sour cherries are bursting with the hormone melatonin, crucial for a good night’s sleep. So not only they will make your tastebuds flatter but also boost your mood!

To make 10 muffins, you will need:

🛑 100 grams of coconut melted oil
🛑 150 grams of unrefined dehydrated coconut nectar
🛑 280 grams of wholegrain spelt flour
🛑 1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
🛑 1 tbsp baking powder
🛑 2 eggs
🛑 4 large ripe bananas
🛑 200 grams of sour cherries chopped
🛑 80 grams chopped pecans
🛑 80 grams coconut shavings, lightly toasted pinch of sea salt

Instructions:
• Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and line a muffin tin with paper cases.
• Soak the cherries in hot water with just enough water to cover them, for 30 minutes (prevents the cherries from burning during cooking)
• Combine the coconut oil and sugar in a food processor
• Add in 3 bananas and blend until the mix is just combined
• Decant the mixture into a bowl. Add the other half of the banana after cutting it into medium chunks. Fold in the remaining ingredients until the flour is fully incorporated
• Place 2 tbsp of mixture into each muffin case, garnish the tops, and bake for 30 minutes until cooked through and the centres spring back when lightly pressed
• Remove from the oven and allow to cool. They can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Enjoy the bake and feel free to share some of your own exciting recipes with us!💌

“I absolutely loved my time at CNM; the course was exactly what I hoped it would be”❣️

A lovely testimonial from one of CNM’s Naturopathic Nutrition Graduates – Marion () who is originally from France. 🇫🇷

“I especially enjoyed the clinical practical training; this proved invaluable when I set up my own practice. CNM’s approach really appealed to me.”

“I decided to study nutrition after I burnt out when working as a communications consultant for food start-ups. I enrolled as an international student at CNM because, at the time, I couldn’t find any training in France which focused on evidence-based nutrition.”

“I resolved my own health issues. The course dramatically helped me to understand and improve the symptoms I’d been struggling with since puberty: endometriosis, androgenic alopecia, and adult acne. After resolving my own health issues with nutrition, I decided to specialise in female health to help others do the same.”🤗

“I now run a busy practice in Paris, France. I help women overcome their hormonal problems with nutrition and lifestyle through one-to-one consultations, workshops, webinars, and online content. I also work as a nutrition consultant for brands in the health and wellness industry.”

“I’ve continued my learning through British and international professional associations, supplement companies, and functional labs that offer high-quality training. I feel my knowledge and experience are bringing something new to the French alternative medicine field.”

CNM Accreditation in the Netherlands 🇳🇱

CNM Diplomas and education are accredited in multiple countries around the world. That is why we have graduates from many different countries who became successful practitioners and can perform their duties without restrictions. 📑

Each country has its own accreditation, especially in the field of Natural Therapies.

For instance, all CNM Diploma courses are accredited by KTNO (Quality and Testing Nature-Oriented Training) in the Netherlands. KTNO is an online platform for quality assurance of vocational training, modules, and refresher courses in private education, with extensive experience in complementary healthcare (CAM care). The accreditation process is focused on quality assessment, improvement, and development. Hence, CNM’s graduates are eligible to join VBAG, BATC, and LVNG (professional bodies for the CAM industry in the Netherlands). ✅

In addition, CNM’s diploma courses are approved by the IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the EU. This means you can work and build a career in the Netherlands after finishing the training with CNM!

👩🏻‍🏫 We at CNM are proud that more than 80% of our graduates begin to practice straight after finishing their training with us. Some graduates choose to work for public or private healthcare and beauty organisations or even start their own businesses around the world.

One of those successful entrepreneurs is our Naturopathic Nutrition Diploma Course Graduate – Emma Beswick.

Emma is a qualified Nutrition Therapist, an expert in nutrigenomics, an educator, and the founder of the leading genetic testing laboratory ()in England.👩🏻‍🔬

Emma believes that nutrigenomics is already changing the future of healthcare and medicine.

“Differences in our genome (DNA) are what make each of us unique and can have a significant impact on our lives and health. While one gene variant can make a difference, most chronic diseases are the result of an interaction between several common variants and environmental factors.”

Emma's laboratory, Lifecode GX, offers a range of specialised nutrigenomics DNA testing panels that show how hereditary health risks can be reduced through personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes.
