One of the questions I get the most is “how do I overcome depression?”, I thought creating this post could help so many people who feel lost about how to begin helping themselves.
This was such a hard post to make, as a therapist I have so much to say about depression and I found really hard summarising it for the purpose of this post. So I had make it in 2 posts (sorry! 🫣) this is part 2, check part 1 on my feed.
Depression is a serious mental health problem & it is important to differentiate feeling depressed and actually experiencing clinical depression. Do not confuse depression with sadness: not always being sad means being depressed and not every depressed person shows sadness.
Either way, it is really important to look after our mood & mental health and I really hope this post can help you or someone you know. 💓
