Yoga Hook Finchley Welcome to Yoga, Pilates & Dance studio offering variety of yoga, hot, warm and room temperature ♥️ YogaHook was founded in 2017 by us, Raj and Nina.

We have been together for 20+ years, we manage our studios together, Raj brings his technical knowledge to the table. I am a yoga practitioner and a yoga teacher. We have a huge passion for yoga and wellness. Our focus is to serve as many people as we can through our studios. Our logo represents that yoga is truly a continuous process, a way of life and reaches beyond infinity. The word hook is to represent fastening of communities. We offer Yoga, Pilates and Fitness Classes. Floatation and Massage therapy. Yoga: We offer a myriad of yoga styles, Beginner classes, Hot yoga, Sky Yoga, Dynamic Flow, HIIT Suspension, Yin and many more. Our belief system is based on ‘kindness’ and ‘compassion’ to create a Strong, Flexible and thriving “YOU”. We are simply here for you and support your wellness goals. Floatation therapy: This therapy transports you to mental and physical relaxation beyond we can explain. Massage Therapy: Come and remove your aches and pains and increase your performance. Strengthen Your Back with Cobra Variations!

Today, let's explore the many variations of Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana). These poses are amazing for relieving strain and stress from your back while strengthening the muscles around your spine, especially the erector spinae.

Here’s how to flow:
1️⃣ Start with your hands under your shoulders, shoulders stacked. Inhale, lift your chest, and float your hands.
2️⃣ Interlace fingers behind your back, inhale, lift chest and legs for an incredible stretch.
3️⃣ Hands under shoulders, rise into a High Cobra (bent elbows are fine!).
4️⃣ Transition to Upward Facing Dog—lift thighs, shins, and open your heart forward.

Repeat 3-5 times for a magical back pain release. Let’s flow!

Cobra is a game-changer for your back—relieving tension and building strength. Here's how to flow:

✨ Step 1: Start on all fours and slide down, hands under shoulders.
✨ Step 2: Inhale, move slightly forward. Exhale, lift your chest, keeping feet together or apart.
✨ Step 3: Lift your hands slightly to feel your spine activate.
✨ Step 4: Try "spider hands" (fingertips down, elbows up). Inhale forward, exhale, lift up.
