St. George’s Day was celebrated in great spirits as residents enjoyed an afternoon of music, companionship, and gentle entertainment in the garden.

A lovely variety of refreshments complemented the occasion. Adding a charming touch to the day, one of our staff members appeared dressed as St. George, dancing with residents before visiting others around the home to share in the celebration. It was a heart‑warming and joyful event for all involved.

The Easter Bunny made a very special visit to Granard Nursery, spreading smiles and Easter cheer all around. Our residents Jo and Rickard joined in the fun, sharing laughter, joyful moments, and plenty of excitement with the children. 🐰🍫 The Bunny handed out Easter eggs, making the day extra magical and full of Easter spirit. Those living with us enjoyed a wonderful day out at the beautiful Isabella Plantation 🌸

With the lovely weather on our side, everyone made the most of More...Fresh Air, taking time to explore, touch, and smell the vibrant flowers all around. The peaceful surroundings created the perfect setting for More...Relaxation, smiles, and meaningful moments. 🌿

Residents also enjoyed some tasty snacks while soaking in the views, making the trip both refreshing and uplifting. Getting out into nature and experiencing a change of environment truly made a positive difference to their wellbeing.

Easter cake decorating was a joyful and hands‑on activity, with residents helping our lovely chef decorate the Easter cake using chocolate nests and colourful eggs.

Everyone enjoyed taking part, sharing ideas, and seeing the cake come together step by step. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and a real sense of teamwork, making it a fun and memorable Easter moment for all 🐣🍰✨

Nutrition and Hydration Week was celebrated from 16th to 22nd March 2026 with a fun and varied programme focused on healthy eating, hydration, and enjoyment for everyone.

The week kicked off with a Big Breakfast on Monday, followed by Snacky Tuesday, Global Afternoon Tea on Wednesday, and Thirsty Thursday featuring a refreshing juice trolley. Fruity Friday brought colourful fresh fruit, Smoothie Saturday offered delicious blended drinks, and the week ended on a relaxed Sunday Sunday, making it a wonderful week full of tasty choices, shared moments, and wellbeing‑focused activities 🥗💧✨

Easter Sunday was made extra magical with a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny! The Bunny hopped around spreading joy, sharing smiles, and personally handing out Easter eggs to our delighted residents. 🍫😊
