We came together at our care home to celebrate International Women’s Day with warmth, joy, and gratitude. We began by wishing everyone a very Happy Women’s Day with a cheerful toast, followed by a short video that highlighted the meaning and importance of this special day.

One of our wonderful residents, Mary, shared her inspiring experience from her years serving as a soldier. Her words of wisdom - encouraging everyone to stay strong and continue spreading happiness - touched all of us deeply and reminded us of the resilience and spirit that Women’s Day represents.

To make the occasion even sweeter, we enjoyed delicious mini cupcakes decorated in beautiful purple and white icing, specially made for the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with music, singing, and lots of smiles as we enjoyed each other’s company.
It was a lovely celebration of the women who inspire us every day.

We celebrated National Pizza Day with our Baking Club in the Leisure Suite! Our residents enjoyed choosing their favourite toppings and helping to prepare the pizza, filling the room with delicious smells as it baked.

Once ready, we savoured the pizza together straight away, sharing laughs, chats, and lots of More...Socialising. The activity encouraged sensory engagement through touch, smell, and taste - and most importantly, it was great fun!

Our lovely residents enjoyed a beautiful Valentine’s Day filled with music, laughter, and sweet treats! 🎶💕

The talented Charlie Carter entertained everyone with romantic love songs - there was plenty of singing along, smiling, and even a little dancing! 💃🕺

Residents were treated to delicious red velvet cupcakes, sandwiches, juices, and a glass of wine to make the afternoon extra special. 🧁🍷

We were delighted to welcome students from Roehampton University who spent Valentine’s Day with our lovely residents.

The students brought handmade Valentine’s cards and chocolates, which brought big smiles and warm hearts all around. 🍫💌
They spent time chatting, sharing stories, and creating beautiful moments of More...Connection. It was a truly meaningful visit that brightened everyone’s day.

🏰 A Lovely Day at Fulham Palace 🌿

Our residents truly enjoyed exploring the fascinating rooms and displays at Fulham Palace. They interacted with the exhibits, watched a short film about the Palace’s history, and shared lots of smiles along the way. 🎥

After the tour, everyone relaxed with some tasty snacks, making the trip even more enjoyable. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and lovely moments together.
