Healthwatch Haringey Annual Report 2024/25 is out now.

This year we continue to reflect the concerns of our Haringey community around health and social care. We looked at choice and GPs; access to LARC services for service users from minority communities; Turkish and Kurdish women's access to GPs.
The year has brought changes in the way NHS services are organised, with mergers, and administrative changes, which have raised some challenging questions.

Comment on the proposed change to emergency surgical services for babies and young children

North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) are proposing changes to emergency surgical care for babies and young children who live in North Central London – Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.

Under the updated proposals, babies and younger children who may need emergency surgery would be transferred to a neighbouring hospital which already specialises in this type of care.

The closing date for survey responses is Monday 21 July 2025.
