We are now fully in the 🔥 Fire element season of summer, time of heat, growth increased light and this year a large sprinkling of rain ☔️

Within the Fire season due to it’s yang (hot) nature we can see specific symptoms arising;

Palpitations / awareness of heart beat
Shortness of breath on exersion
Feeling cold and cold hands
Spiritual fatigue
Spontaneous sweating
Insomina
Poor memory
Anxiety
Easily startled
Feeling hot in the evening
Dream-disturbed sleep
Fidgeting
Night sweats
Panik attacks
Dullness and confusion
Depression
Stabbing pain in heart area
Abdominal pain
Burning on urination
Pain on twisting

A recent acupuncture case study I completed, with a patient who has been suffering from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
The patient was informed by her neurologist that they could not see a way to resolve the issue, and was given gabapentin to suppress the RLS indefinitely.

After 6 weeks of acupuncture the restless legs completely stopped, over the following weeks with the patient communicating with her medical proffesional, she slowly came off her gabapentin tablets.

She has now been free from Restless legs for over 3 months and has stopped taken gabapentin, this is an amazing result!

Did you know that your ears map your body?

Auricular acupuncture is the practice of needling specific points or areas on your ear, these points can help relieve physical pains, emotional issues, digestive issues, inflammation and can relax the body and assist with better sleeping patterns.
