This 75-minute workshop offers a focused blend of yoga and functional conditioning to support recovery, mobility, and injury prevention. Ideal for any and all active individuals this session will help you move better, recover smarter and perform at your best.
Kylie brings both the science of recovery with the practice, and you will leave this workshop with improved awareness and knowledge of your body; ways to personalise your recovery; enhanced mobility and strength; techniques to calm the mind and nervous system.
Workshop Breakdown
1. Welcome & Introduction (5 minutes)
Brief overview of goals
Importance of recovery in athletic performance
2. Dynamic conditioning (15 minutes)
Mobility drills
Light bodyweight strength work
Joint activation and neuromuscular priming
3. Recovery focused yoga flow (30 minutes)
Poses targeting hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and spine
Breath-led movement to release tension
Modifications for sport-specific needs
4. Breathwork & mindfulness (10 minutes)
Guided breathing and mindfulness for nervous system regulation and mental recovery
5. Cool Down & Q&A (15 minutes)
Passive relaxation
