Deepak Chopra strikes again with yet another good one! Why so good? Well, when we focus on what we want, as opposed to what we don’t want, we allow our brains to calm down and employ our more rational and resourceful faculties. When we facilitate the resourcefulness, that we all have, we support ourselves in achieving what we want, finding solutions, coming up with good ideas, noticing other resources in our worlds which might help us to achieve our objectives and desires. On the other hand, if our habit is to focus on what we don’t want, our greatest fears, our brain is likely to become alarmed and employ our survival mechanisms, namely: fight, flight and freeze! Great in a real life emergency, but not very helpful if we are trying to live a calm, rational, fulfilling and developing life. Try focussing only on what you want and see and feel the difference it makes! And breathe! Enjoy!
