"I just want to feel like myself again."

I've heard some version of this sentence more times than I can count. And it never gets less meaningful.

This work isn't about looking younger, or different, or better by someone else's standard. It's about feeling at home in your face again.

If that resonates, my inbox is open. Free consultations, no pressure, honest conversation. ๐Ÿ’›

"I just want to look like myself again."

That's the brief I hear most. And honestly, it's my favourite one to work with.

Not "give me the works." Not "I want what she has." Not a trend or a filter or a result they saw on someone else.

Just: I want to look like me, on a good day, when I've actually had some sleep. ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's also the hardest brief to deliver well because it requires actually understanding someone's face, their skin, their history, and what "themselves" looks like rather than what they think it should look like.

That's what a proper consultation is for. Not a treatment menu. Not a price list. A real conversation about what you actually want and whether we can honestly help you get there.

If this sounds familiar, DM us 'ME' and let's talk about what looking like yourself again actually means for you. ๐Ÿ’›

Three things I wish every client knew before their first skin booster.

One. One session is not a treatment plan. It's a starting point. Most skin boosters need 2โ€“3 sessions to show meaningful results and a maintenance plan after that. Anyone telling you otherwise is setting you up for disappointment.

Two. The booster everyone is talking about online is not automatically the right one for your skin. Profhilo, Sculptra, Seventy Hyal, they each do something different. The right choice depends on your skin's specific concerns, your age, your lifestyle, and your goal. Not Instagram trends.

Three. If a practitioner recommended a skin booster without properly assessing your skin first that's where the problem starts. The assessment isn't a box to tick. It's the most important part of the whole process.

At EAWB, we start with the assessment. Always.

If you've had a skin booster before and weren't happy with the results DM us 'BOOSTER' and let's look at what actually happened and what your skin needs now.

No pressure. Just clarity. DM us 'BOOSTER' let's look at what your skin actually needs.

If you've read anything we've posted over the past two weeks and thought 'that sounds like me' this post is for you.

Maybe you've been thinking about a treatment for a while. Maybe you've tried something before and it didn't work the way you hoped. Maybe you're just not sure where to start and the whole thing feels overwhelming.

All of that is completely normal. And none of it means you're out of options.

Here's what we'd say to you:

You don't need to know exactly what you want before you reach out to us. You don't need to have done all the research. You don't need to be 'ready' in any particular way.

You just need to want an honest conversation.

We'll ask the right questions. We'll look at what you're working with. We'll tell you what we think, and if we think treatment isn't the right next step for you right now, we'll tell you that too, with a clear explanation.

There's no pressure to book anything beyond that first conversation.

If that sounds like what you've been looking for comment 'LET'S TALK' below, or send us a message directly. We'll take it from there.

And if you're not quite ready yet that's okay too. We'll be here. ๐Ÿ’›

Is there anything that's been stopping you from taking that first step? I'd genuinely like to know even if it's something you think is a silly reason. It never is. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Most people put off booking a consultation because they don't know what to expect.

They worry they'll feel pressured. They worry they'll be sold something they don't need. They worry the practitioner will look at them and immediately start listing everything that could be 'fixed.'

I understand that worry. And I want to tell you that's not what happens at EAWB.

Here's what actually happens when you come in.

You sit down. We ask you to tell us what's been on your mind. Not what treatment you want, what you've noticed, what's been bothering you, how long you've felt that way. We listen. Properly.

Then we ask about what you've tried before. What worked. What didn't. What the experience was like. This isn't small talk, it's essential information that shapes everything that comes next.

Then we look. We look at your skin, or the area of concern, with proper attention and enough time. We don't rush this part.

Only after all of that do we talk about treatment.

And sometimes often, actually the treatment we recommend isn't the one you came in expecting. Sometimes it's something you haven't heard of. Sometimes it's a combination. And sometimes, if the timing isn't right or we don't think treatment is the right next step for you, we'll tell you that clearly and explain what we think you should do instead.

We've had clients tell us that our consultation was the first time a practitioner had actually looked at them rather than just at their booking form.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Every time.

If you've been putting off booking because you weren't sure what to expect, I hope this helps.

What would make you feel more comfortable walking into a consultation? I'd genuinely love to know. ๐Ÿ‘‡

We've partnered with Jerams Consultancy and we want to tell you why. Because the reason is actually very EAWB.

You know how we feel about the aesthetics industry: too many clinics skipping the consultation, recommending treatments without assessing, telling clients what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear.

Jerams Consultancy feels the same way about the business world.

They're a London-based transformation consultancy, helping businesses save money, save time, reduce risk, and grow sustainably through strategy, AI, and operational improvement. They work with everyone from solo traders to large organisations. And their approach?

They start with a proper assessment. Not a sales pitch. Not a service menu. A real conversation about what's actually going on and an honest recommendation, even if it's not what you were expecting.

Sound familiar?

Two very different industries. Completely identical values.

If you run a business or know someone who does and you're at the point where growth feels harder than it should, systems are a mess, or you want to understand how AI could actually help you without the jargon, Jerams are worth a conversation.

Their free business assessment is a 45-minute consultation. No commitment. No hard sell. Just clarity which, if you follow us, you know is the only way we'd ever recommend anyone.

DM us 'JERAMS' and we'll send you straight through.

Six months ago, a client came to us with skin she described as 'tired and losing the fight.' This is what happened โ€” including the part where the results surprised even us.

She was 43. She'd noticed over the past two years that her skin felt different โ€” less firm, less responsive, with a texture she couldn't quite improve no matter what she put on it. She'd tried skincare, she'd tried facials, she'd tried one course of regular Microneedling elsewhere. Nothing was shifting it in the way she hoped.

In her consultation, we looked at her skin carefully. What we found was a combination of early collagen loss and reduced elasticity โ€” the kind of change that starts happening gradually in your 40s and that surface treatments struggle to address because the change is happening deeper in the skin's structure.

We recommended RF Microneedling. Three sessions, six weeks apart, with a clear plan for what we expected to see at each stage.

She was cautious โ€” she'd been disappointed before. The treatment itself was manageable. In the days after, some redness and mild swelling โ€” completely normal and expected. We checked in with her.

This is where it gets interesting. She noticed her skin starting to feel different before it looked different. Firmer. Slightly more 'there.' By session 3, the texture changes were becoming visible โ€” particularly around her cheeks and jawline.

๐— ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต ๐Ÿฒ:
We saw her for a review. Her skin had continued to improve even after the treatment course ended โ€” because RF Microneedling stimulates a collagen response that develops over months, not days.

What surprised us? The degree of improvement in her jawline definition. We'd expected good results. The results were better than good.

What this reinforced for us: the right treatment, properly planned, with realistic expectations โ€” is the only approach that actually works.

If you've been thinking about RF Microneedling and want an honest assessment of whether it's right for your skin โ€” comment 'TEXTURE' below. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Okay Boss! We got you!๐Ÿคฉ

She came to us after 3 other clinics and over ยฃ1,200 spent.

Her skin hadn't changed. She was frustrated, confused, and honestly โ€” starting to think nothing would work for her.

The first thing we did wasn't recommend a treatment.

We asked questions. We looked at her skin properly. We asked about what she'd had done before and why she thought it hadn't worked.

What she'd been recommended elsewhere wasn't wrong, exactly. It just wasn't right for her skin, her lifestyle, and her actual goal.

We suggested a different approach. She was hesitant โ€” understandably.

Three sessions later โ€” her words: "I wish I'd come here first."

We're not sharing this to show off. We're sharing it because if you've been in her position โ€” trying things that don't work and starting to lose faith โ€” we want you to know that it's usually not the treatment that failed. It's the plan.

If you'd like an honest second opinion on your skin โ€” DM us 'RESULTS' and we'll take a proper look at your situation.

I offer fat dissolving. I also think it's one of the most misrepresented treatments on social media right now. Those two things aren't a contradiction.

Here's the honest truth that I wish more practitioners would say out loud.

Fat dissolving works. For the right person, with the right expectations, in the right area โ€” it genuinely works. But it has been sold to so many people who aren't suitable candidates that the industry has a real credibility problem around it.

It uses an injectable solution to break down localised fat cells in specific, small areas โ€” chin, jowls, small pockets of stubborn fat. The dissolved fat is processed by the body naturally over several weeks. Multiple sessions are typically needed. Results develop gradually โ€” not overnight.

People with small, defined pockets of localised fat that haven't responded to lifestyle changes. Good skin elasticity is important โ€” because as the fat reduces, the skin needs to be able to contract around it. Realistic expectations are essential.

People who need significant fat reduction (this is not a weight loss treatment). People with poor skin laxity in the area โ€” you may be left with loose skin where the fat was. People who have been told it will give them the same results as surgery. It won't.

We turn away fat dissolving enquiries regularly. Not because we can't do the treatment โ€” but because honesty about suitability is more important to us than filling an appointment.

I'd love to know โ€” have you ever been recommended fat dissolving? Were you given a thorough consultation first, or was it more of a tick-box exercise? Comment below. ๐Ÿ‘‡

We received this message from a client last week. I want to share it โ€” not to show off, but because it captures exactly why we work the way we do.

She first came to us after two years of trying different treatments at different clinics. Each time she'd leave feeling hopeful. Each time the results didn't meet what she'd been led to expect.

By the time she found us, she was frustrated โ€” and honestly, starting to wonder if she was the problem.

She wasn't. She'd just never had a practitioner take the time to properly understand her skin before recommending something.

After her consultation and a course of treatment with us, she sent us this:

๐Ÿ’› '[Insert real client testimonial here โ€” use one from your reviews that mentions feeling genuinely listened to, or getting results after trying elsewhere]'

This is the standard we hold ourselves to at EAWB. Not because it's good for business โ€” though it is โ€” but because it's the right way to treat people.

If you've ever felt like a number in a system rather than a person in a consultation โ€” I want you to know that's not what aesthetics should feel like.

Has a treatment ever exceeded your expectations? Or has one fallen short of what you were promised? Either answer โ€” I'd love to hear it. ๐Ÿ‘‡
