Pillar Perspective: Edit 02

The second edition of Pillar Perspective turns to a subject that deserves far greater understanding, conversation, and support.

Endometriosis affects millions of women worldwide, yet many still face years of unanswered questions before receiving a diagnosis. Too often, symptoms are minimised, normalised, or misunderstood - delaying the care and reassurance that should come far sooner.

In this edition, our Clinical Director Oliver Patrick, shares his perspective on why awareness matters, the importance of trusting your body, and how a more personalised approach to movement, nutrition, recovery, and medical support can help improve quality of life.

At Pillar, we believe better wellbeing begins with being heard, understood, and supported with expertise that sees the whole person.

Honouring the evening hours ~ a guide to slowing down, restoring the nervous system and creating space for rest as the day comes to a close.

As daylight lingers for longer, evenings offer an opportunity to step away from stimulation and reconnect with a slower, more intentional rhythm. Through small, consistent rituals - from softening light and reducing screen time to gentle movement, reflection and rest - we can support the body’s natural transition into recovery.

A reminder that how we end the day shapes how we begin the next.

Pillar x New Balance: Post Race Reset.

We are over the moon to be partnering with New Balance House for this years TCS London Marathon.

Join Pillar and New Balance at Somerset House for a series of post-race recovery sessions created to help your body reset, restore, and rebuild after marathon day.

Designed to support tired legs, overworked joints, and a nervous system that has given everything, these sessions combine purposeful movement with intelligent recovery. Expect full-body mobility, deep stretching, release work, and guided breathwork to ease tension, improve circulation, and bring the body back into balance.

Alongside this, a low-impact Pilates session will focus on reconnecting with the deep core, improving mobility, and restoring control through mindful movement - helping you recover stronger, move better, and return to training with greater resilience.

Whether you’ve raced hard, cheered loudly, or simply want to give your body the care it deserves, this is your invitation to recover properly.

Spring doesn’t ask for intensity - it asks for reconnection.

As we move out of winter, the body begins to respond to longer days, more natural light, and a gradual shift in energy. Walking becomes one of the most accessible and supportive ways to meet this transition, offering a gentle return to movement without added pressure or strain.

It helps to improve circulation, support energy levels, and regulate mood, while also creating space for the nervous system to settle. In a season that naturally encourages renewal, walking offers a steady rhythm that feels both grounding and restorative.

A reminder that sometimes the simplest habits are the most powerful - especially when we allow them to be done consistently, and with ease.
