I know you see it too - that adult client sitting in your office who’s clearly struggling with more than just “focus issues.” The exhaustion they can’t explain. The anxiety that medication alone isn’t touching. The sense that they’re constantly fighting their own brain.
ADHD in adults is rarely just ADHD. It often comes with a nervous system that’s been running on overdrive for years, sleep that never quite restores, co-occurring anxiety or depression, and sometimes trauma from years of feeling like they were failing at being human.
That’s where my work sits - in that intersection between mental health and the body’s experience of ADHD. My nursing background means I can have conversations about medication, understand the physical toll, and work collaboratively with you to support the whole person.
If you have clients who need ADHD support that goes beyond behavior strategies, I’d love to be part of their care team.
