Looking for something new to add to your practice?

Why not incorporate acupressure points in your treatments with the powerful tools of Tok Sen.
The name comes from the sound the tapping makes - ‘Tok’ and the word for energy lines - ‘Sen’, thus Tok Sen translates as tapping the energy lines.
Suitable for adding to clothed or oil massages, it could really add an extra edge to your massage.

We're hiring more lecturers!

The London School of Massage is rated as one of the top and largest private massage schools in the UK and we're looking for great Trainers to join our growing team. If you're a passionate trainer and want to help train the next generation of emerging Complementary Therapists - we want to hear from you.

We're currently recruiting for trainers to help expand our team and be able to offer more courses. We are currently looking for trainers to teach:

Hot Stone Massage (CPD Course)

Pregnancy Massage (CPD Course)

Aromatherapy Level 3 (ITECVTCT)

Pregnancy Massage (CPD Course)

To qualify for any or all of these rolls, we require you to be;

- Passionate and energetic about your Therapy

- Qualified in your Therapy at the same level or higher for a minimum of 2-years

- Already have, or be working towards a teaching qualification; PTTLS or AET Level 3, similar or higher

- Have some basic or full Teaching or Training experience

- Actively working in your Therapy with a minimum of 2-years experience

Our courses are part-time and we sometimes also need cover teachers for some of our courses. If you would like to apply but aren’t sure you can commit full-time, please contact us to discuss.

Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Massage (or equivalent)

This introductory Scar Therapy course will include the theory and clinical application and cover the following topics:

- What is Scar Therapy
- Basics of Fascia
- Scar Tissue, Adhesions and Tissue Healing
- Classification of Scars
- Effects of Thermotherapy
- Use of different Carrier Oils
- Know Skin Lines of Tension
- Contraindications to Scar Therapy
- Specific strokes that can be helpful to make changes to scar tissue
- Work on clients with scar tissue (depending on client availability)

There are still spaces available for our Cellulite Massage course on Thursday 10th July.

What will you learn?
How cellulite develops, the vascular and intercellular dysfunction that occurs within the tissue and the different grades.

With this knowledge, practitioners will have a better appreciation of how and why given massage techniques and strokes can be helpful and learn a solid routine to apply for various areas of the body.
