Really happy with my planner and student record. Working in SEN school I find hard to keep track of all the targets, planning, reports, assessments, meetings, behaviour plans, intimate care plans, speech&language plans, referrals, etc and the combination of these two is just perfect to not miss a thing✨

Lately I’ve been struggling with my health. Covid ate my iron and my body seems unable to produce iron properly again which makes me extremely tired, get big bruises for nothing, dizzy and prone to get sick quicker. I’ve never been off and this past few months I have been off sick quite a lot. I always feel guilty for not going to work, I don’t like it, but the other day it made me feel the love and appreciation that “my” children have when sneakily one of them was trying to log in my computer using “I missed you when you weren’t here yesterday” as username 💚

Últimamente estoy luchando con mi salud. El covid se comió mi hierro y parece que mi cuerpo es incapaz de producirlo otra vez haciéndome estar muy, muy cansada, me salen moretones grandes por nada, me mareo y me pongo mala mucho mas rápido. Nunca he sido de faltar al trabajo pero últimamente he tenido que faltar bastante por estar mala. Siempre me diento un poco culpable por no ir, no me gusta, pero el otro día me dejó ver el cariño y aprecio de uno de mis “niños” que sutilmente intentó iniciar sesión en mi ordenador escribiendo “te eché de menos ayer cuando no estabas” como usuario 💚

Se que yo soy la que se supone que les enseña cosas pero…. Ellos me enseñan muchas, muchas mas lecciones que yo a ellos. No cambiaría ni un momento de los que estoy con ellos. Son increíbles.

Sometimes astronauts (the children I work with) find a bit difficult to separate what it’s real and what it’s their imagination. When they have to write stories they find it tricky to create something new and not something they’ve seen before or related to their favourite topic. Today we created an immersive experience where I was pretend-killed (worked a lot on emotions and pretend play there) and they have to find out who did it and why (theory of mind) and write about it and their experience.

Will share how it goes 👮🏻‍♀️

A veces a astronautas (los niños con los que trabajo) les cuesta separar lo que es real de lo que es su imaginación. Cuando escriben historias les cuesta crear algo nuevo y no algo que hayan visto ya o que no tenga que ver con sus temas favoritos. Hoy hemos creado una experiencia de inmersión donde he pretendido que alguien cometía un crimen (hemos trabajado mucho las emociones y el juego imaginario cuando me han visto en el suelo) y tienen que averiguar quien y por qué (teoría de la mente) y escribir sobre ello y su experiencia.
