Greenhive residents enjoyed some puzzles and games yesterday. It was a busy and fun morning ,sitting and chatting together. A resident even volunteered to wash up the cups and plates after the activity and enjoyed helping out. It was a lovely relaxing day.

Stretching, moving, and dancing, Andrea got everyone motivated and dancing. It was a fun, happy, and exciting day .

Greenhive residents enjoyed making homemade ice cream on Monday. We played games as we waited for the mixture to churn and then enjoyed decorating their ice cream with different choice of toppings! Laughter, fun, and delicious food 🥰

Greenhive residents enjoyed a church service over the weekend from the local parish, St marys Magdelene, about remembrance. Residents read leaflets, and we spoke about the past and present wars. It was a touching and uplifting service.

Greenhive residents celebrated Bonfire night by having some delicious hot chocolate with cream and mini marshmallows, some marshmallows with glitter sparkles and they also had some toasted s'mores, which went down a treat. 🎆

Residents also coloured some poppy prints to celebrate remembrance on Sunday.

Greenhive residents enjoyed gardening club on Saturday. It was cold, but the warmth from the bright sunshine helped us plant some spring bulbs. We later had nice hot drinks with some sweet pastries. 😋 laughter, chatting, and good company

Greenhive residents had a fantastic time celebrating Halloween last week! We enjoyed games, pumpkin carving, colouring, and a spooky film in our in-house cinema. It was a day full of fun, laughter, and great conversation. 🎃👻

Greenhive residents enjoyed activities for all. We had dominoes, knitting ,puzzles, and a magnetic building puzzle. A resident had fun washing up and recalled doing this at home. It was a lovely and fun morning!

Greenhive residents had a busy day today as they celebrated diwali, which is the festival of lights. They decorated some jars, which were used as lanterns for their light and did some colouring. A cup of Masala chai with some Indian treats went down well. The afternoon was filled with music, laughter, good food, and a fancy Indian lunch . The day ended with a brilliant movie, which highlighted Indian culture with dance and colour. This ended our diwali celebrations . It was an amazing day for all.

Greenhive residents celebrated black history month by reading leaflets ,poems, and book extracts from black authors. We later celebrated World Food Day by sampling snacks from around the world. They enjoyed listening to different types of music from Spanish to Irish. It was a fun and entertaining afternoon!
