I’ve been a bit quiet on my personal social media lately, mainly because I’ve been working super hard at many life changing things. Adjusting to a new life in Devon, being away from my dear friends and making wonderful new ones taking up a huge amount of heart space. Launching a new business and making it work during a global pandemic being another extreme challenge that has taken up huge headspace. The different emotions that have filled this last year have been endless and often indescribable, but being here today in a room made full from grit, determination and a pursuit for a better life for me and these incredible creative people now fills my mind with peace and soul with utter joy. I’ve found my happy place. No wait, I made my happy place a reality because I didn’t give up. Dear friends, family and followers, I haven’t forgotten you. Quite the opposite, you have got me through and out the other side and I appreciate every single person who’s showed support and love along my journey. 🙏🏼😌🍪❤️

One year ago I took the leap and launched my own design business , yup in the middle of a global crisis. But if you don’t take risks you don’t get any rewards and boy what a year it’s been!

Yes things may be crumbling around you but if you can find a way to stay strong, push the positive vibes and never give up you’ll find your happy. It happens with hard work and dedication, juggling a million things, and learning how to do a few more, but it’s worth it when you can wake up on a sunny Monday morning and celebrate your success. And a very important anniversary milestone.

I can honestly say I wouldn’t have got this far without the support of my Arbonne community who boosted my confidence in business and personal growth at a time where I could have easily buried my head in the sand and told the world to go away. Forever grateful for the continuing encouragement on my journey to Boss Lady and one day soon ENVP! My morning routine is always interrupted by one of my little fur balls.

I was mid make-up then Mollie just nestled herself in my lap watching like an astute student as I applied one product after another.

I probably used around 12 Arbonne products this morning and she reminds me that not one of them has been tested on animals or contain animal byproducts.

In fact all Arbonne personal-care and cosmetic products are never tested on animals and are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny. It’s the middle of a bank holiday weekend and to celebrate an extra day to enjoy life, the world n everything, we are having breakfast in bed. I rare treat I must add. I’m always too busy, he’s always to busy, we have bonkers schedules and always have something going on. Which is awesome and I’m incredibly grateful for that, but right now I can genuinely say I am looking forward snuggling in my duvet and dripping runny egg down my chin then washing it all down with a vat of coffee.

It’s not happiness that brings us gratitude, it’s gratitude that brings us happiness.

Once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to loose site of the things you lack.

Since taking the leap and launching my own business I’ve not looked back. Yes there are uncertainties diving into the unknown and this leads to worry - BUT it’s a completely different kind of stress when you know you are working for you and your personal goals. Somehow it doesn’t effect you the same way as office politics does lol. Since leaving a 9-5 working situation I’ve slept soundly almost every night.

I didn’t do a business management course and I don’t have Excel skills or am an expert in network marketing, yet here I am, an entrepreneur with a full time design business and a passionate side hustle with a flourishing Arbonne team.

It doesn’t matter that your missing the paper or the person to tell you you’re good at something. It doesn’t matter that you haven’t paid hundreds of pounds for that course. What matters is that if you want something bad enough you make it happen, if you want to change your situation you find a way to do it. The only thing you have to have is heart and believe that you can do whatever you set out to. Because then you will.

Without self belief you are just an empty shell lost in limbo. I know that because I felt that way for yonks. Until enough is enough and i took control.

Find your happy and just crack on. You got this. 💪🏼🌷😎

Everyone has a hero beauty product, one that they can’t live without and mine has to be serum. Since the AgeWell launched a year ago this has replaced my 6yr go-to RE9 Advanced, which was hard to beat!

Its silky light formula quickly absorbs into you skin without any greasy residue. Serums are designed to deeply pe*****te your skin to the underbelly layers, the ones that matter and hold your face up 😆 So if you’re not using one in your regime you’re missing out on some serious Antiaging and firming support. Serums are one of the hardest working face products and I used to spend nearly £150 on one before I discovered Arbonne. I know! Right! Nuts. BUT I’ve always loved and seen great results from a good quality serum.

Even if you are not a product nut or huge morning person, that’s ok. This followed by a solid SPF moisturiser will do the trick. And it can be applied at night, so you still get the repair and renew benefits.

Today I’ve realised happiness was never about my job, or my degree, or being in relationship. Happiness was never about following the footsteps of others or being like others.

Happiness is about discovery. The listening to your heart and following wherever it chooses to go. Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself, embracing the person you were becoming and enjoying the journey.

Your happiness is never in the hands of other people. It’s all about you and it will always be about you.

I stopped worrying about what others thought of my decisions and my ideas,
I believed in them and that is enough.

You will spend over 90,000 hours at work in your lifetime! Wow that’s crazy, so to me if you can make passion your pay check then those hours won’t feel like work at all.

That’s what I’ve been achieving by growing my side hustle with Arbonne alongside building . Combining my love for my day job with my passion for sustainable products and eco-friendly beauty and wellness solutions.

At first it didn’t seem like these two business would compliment and I had doubts I would be able to focus on both, but when your life goals and motivations take over the steering wheel, before you know it you’re on a new path. One that brings fulfilment, happiness and enjoyment, rather than stress, anxiety and sleepless nights.

I quickly realised that being your own boss time is yours to manage, to flex around your life and commitments. Like a giant game of Tetris, time becomes pieces that slot together rather than having gaping, wasted holes. I’m actually getting more done in a day and ticking things off ‘the bucket list’ quicker than ever before. This is what keeps me going and the determination to make the absolute most out of the time we have.

Why hold on to dreams when by letting go you can actually achieve them?

As it transitions the website will be down approximately 9:30am - 12pm. When you do go place your next order here are the key steps you PCs need to do:

✅ Reset your password. Email will be the same but toull have to enter a new password, not the same as before.

💳 Set up a default payment to your account. Go to My account > Account > Payments to add or update your card.

🎁 If you have autoship items the these will have to be reset too and you will have to accept the new terms and conditions, and select your recently added default payment method.

One of the best bits about this business is randomly one day and old friend messages out the blue and we reconnect over a mascara.

I loved that she re-connected and I also was really happy that I could help her. So in between emails I’ve put a little pack together to send out in the next post.

It doesn’t take a lot to run side hustle alongside your day job but you gain so much from it. I know I have, from education, community, helping others to reconnecting with old friends. These are the little things that make me smile and just keep swimming.

Most of you know that I’ve been beavering away in the background building my design business and boy what a crazy few months it’s been! I was not prepared for an influx of exciting new clients and projects, but with the April 12th deadline approaching I can gladly say pace will be returning to the New Normal and I couldn’t be more excited at what’s next! Incredibly grateful to be where I am right now.

I’ve been suffering with hay fever lately and sore eyes from staring at my screen daily. The puffy, stingy, itchy, dry, irritated feeling you get from this combination is enough to put you in a bad mood and wipe out any brain power you have left.

Taking care of business ✨

Anyone who runs their own business knows it takes hard work, grit and tenacity to make it successful. It takes time to grow, but taking the time to allow you to flourish is just as important.

Ask me a year ago if I would be running my own business “heck no” would be the answer. Ask me back then to fill in a daily success journal and would have said “jog on I don’t have time for that”. Ask me today and the answer is I couldn’t imagine any other way! I make the time because I want it to work and I want to learn and be successful.

Yes I’m still busy, busier even. I have two businesses running side by side, my Branding business and my Network Marketing business. But they help feed each other, with transferable skills I’m gaining from personal development and education from making the time to learn, and the willingness to apply what I’ve learned.

Life will always be busy, you will always have something on but there is value in progress. No matter how small or as simple as a daily journal. Making time for even the little things means you care, and caring about what you’re doing all you need to keep moving forwards. Even if it’s only one baby step at a time.
