We have been established for over 21 years and during its lifetime the group has been affiliated to a number of different business networking organisations. We are now completely independent and so we are able to take all the best features for the many different networking organisations that currently exist. We do not charge an annual membership but there is a meeting/breakfast fee of £9.50, which is paid directly to the hotel and we ask members to make an annual £80 contribution to the marketing fund for the promotion of CRX and recruitment of new members. Membership is by invitation and we try to avoid conflict between members through a policy of just one member per business niche. We do not impose rigid categories for membership but prefer to ask members to discuss possible conflicts with prospective new members, only allowing them to join if it is agreed that this will not cause conflict. Our primary reason for existence is to pass business to one another. However, we do not pressurise members to meet a quota of referrals, preferring to build long term relationships based on trust. From this we know that genuine valuable business referrals will be generated. In addition to business referrals, our meetings include time for general discussion, as a group and in smaller groups and one to ones. This really helps build positive relationships and enables members to help and support one another with all kinds of business matters.
