We are currently looking for people to join our team of Care Assistants based in and around the above areas to help care for people in their own homes.

About the role:

Our Care Assistants provide support to our clients, in their own homes by assisting with:

Outings, activities, errands
Grocery shopping and meal preparation
Personal care requirements like showering, incontinence needs, or getting ready for the day
Light household cleaning and domestic assistance
Support with medication
What you will need:

A willingness to learn
A reliable nature
A flexible approach to your working pattern
Ideally, you will have a full driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, however – if you are comfortable on public transport and don’t mind a bit of travel throughout the day, then please still get in touch.

Whether you’ve worked with the NHS, in hospitals, cared for a family member. Maybe you’ve done none of the above, but you’re caring, hardworking and compassionate. With our brilliant training program on offer, we can provide you with the confidence to become a carer.

Hello Colleagues,

It's going to be a scorcha in the next couple of days, most of us will love it, but some of our clients will not..

Please be aware of the attached guidance given that there is very high probability of Heat-wave in the next couple of days.
It is recommended that you:-

Check the weather forecast
check room temperatures especially those rooms where disabled or high risk individuals spend most of their time
keep an eye on people you know to be at risk – ensure they have access to plenty of cool liquids
look out for vulnerable neighbours

£10.75 per hour to £11.75 on weekends+ 20p per mile for car drivers and 15p per mile for motorcyclists plus travel time.

Full time hours are available 7 days a week and full time Community Care Workers are expected to work two weekends per month.

Based in Southwark in the following postcodes SE1, SE5, SE15, SE16, SE17 SE21, SE22 and SE24 areas. We are also looking to expand to other areas.

As a Community Care Worker you will be supporting vulnerable members of our community to live their life to the full by visiting clients in their own home to help them stay independent and live a dignified life in order to maintain their wellbeing. You will be working with adults with physical disabilities, ongoing medical conditions, mental health and the elderly. You will be assisting clients with everything from getting washed and dressed in the morning to preparing a meal for lunch or tea, keeping their homes clean and tidy and assisting clients into bed in the evening.

The following attributes and values are preferred:

Empathy and experience of working with older people
A drivers Licence may be strongly desired with use of a car or motorcycle
Treating people we support with compassion
Showing dignity and respect to the people that they will be working with
