Introducing our BYCer Lavinia, 79 years young. She injured her pelvis in a skiing accident only a few months ago and using the yoga as part of her rehab, is already inspiring us all with her speedy recovery!

Here are some words from the lady herself about what BYC hot yoga does for her:

“I find BYC hot yoga an essential ingredient to my week. I have experienced it for many years now and the benefits have continued unchanged. For me it is the need for complete concentration for the duration of the class that does wonders. Not a negative thought or worry comes into view - only the postures matter. Bliss.

That aside, I can count the physical benefits, notably improved breathing and lung function following my lobectomy many years ago, and more recently improved mobility in my pelvic area following a careless skiing injury earlier this year.

And then I must also mention the friendly atmosphere that greets one as you enter the building. Overall an experience not to be missed”.

BYC hot yoga has been in the heart of Chiswick since 2002, sharing health and vitality to West London.

With our experienced teachers and a spacious studio BYC hot yoga really does provide something special. We have a wonderful wall of windows over looking the beautiful vista of Turnham Green. From the Spring cherry blossom, to the Autumnal red, yellow & brown, nature is always putting on a display to help calm and relax. BYC hot yoga was the 3rd Bikram Hot Yoga studio to be opened in London. However, we also have a wealth of yoga experience in Vinyasa, Yin and now Inferno Hot Pilates to share.
