Just in: the final numbers (and words!) reflecting our impact in 2024-25.

We're proud to say we helped 808 young people with their mental health this year! We strengthened the networks around them by supporting 159 parents/carers, as well as 80 professionals.

Testimonials from young people indicate the true value of our work.

"I learned how to communicate my feelings and control my anger and behaviour," said one patient.

Read on to learn more about how we're shaping mental health care in Brent, Westminster and the Highlands.

We were out at Claremont High School Academy yesterday, speaking with students about the work we do as part of their Charity Fundraising Day. It was a fete event, and we saw some impressive ingenuity at the students' stalls.

All money raised through yesterday's ventures will be donated, and we were lucky enough to be chosen as one of their local charities this year. Thanks so much, Claremont students and teachers!

CEO Valentina Levi and staff were honoured to be included among the brilliant organisations and individuals recognised at MP ’s Community Celebration last night!

In the room were many members of our local community - residents, volunteers and staff - who work day in and day out to support people in the borough. It was wonderful to spend time together reflecting on our successes and thinking about the future.

On Saturday, the Sport & Thought team hosted a football event in partnership with QPCS to spotlight the urgent issue of young men's mental health, and discuss how Sport & Thought can reach and support them. The event brought together young people, local GPs, teachers, and therapists for a conversation and match ⚽

The Sport & Thought programme integrates psychoanalytic thinking into football sessions, creating a space where young people can begin to connect their actions to their emotions, without fear of punishment or shame.

Thank you to everyone from the community who attended!

This year we were pleased to welcome Dr. Greg Battle to our Board of Trustees.

He brings a wealth of knowledge from his successful career as a GP and his work at the Whittington Hospital.

Greg has provided a moving account of his personal experience of serious mental illness and recovery, illustrating how crucial a loving support network and therapy can be in supporting people to recover from illness.

We are very grateful to Greg for sharing his story with us for
