We are the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for Spotlight and Tagmin, providing mental health and wellbeing support to a network of over 74,000 people.

Through our service, all members and staff have access to up to six fully subsidised counselling or coaching sessions each, access to our workshops, talks, events, group sessions and surgeries, telephone, text and what’s app support, signposting, seasonal newsletter, resources and much more.

We work with a diverse range of over 125 trainee and experienced BACP and UKCP registered Counsellors and Coaches, all of whom are based in the UK and have a background in the creative industries, so understand the unique challenges of working in this industry.

There are no waiting lists, all our support is 100% confidential, and people can access the help they need without anyone knowing.

We believe in adopting a proactive and preventative approach to mental health support which helps to reduce the number of days lost to mental ill health whilst improving productivity and contributing to happier and healthier workplaces.

Our mental health and wellbeing surgery on Friday 4th December is a chance to book a single session of counselling with one of our Counsellors (Andrea).

You can use your slot to discuss any issue(s), whether they are of a personal or professional nature.

Your session can be a one-off or the entry point to longer-term counselling, and is ideal for those people who have something on their mind they would like to discuss or would just like to find out whether counselling is for them.

Sessions are online and last for 50 minutes.

All our work is 100% confidential, so no-one will know that you have accessed our support, including your employer.

Upon booking your slot, you will be sent a short online assessment form to complete, which will give you an opportunity to tell us a little about your background and circumstances, and help us to prepare for your session.

A link to the virtual room will be sent before the day of your session.

You can book your space here:

Sessions are priced at £25 each.

All of us struggle with stress in our life, but it doesn't have to control us.

Our workshop ‘Building resilience to stress - a nervous system approach’, which is taking place online at 2pm on Thursday 27th November, will introduce you to ways in which you can support your wellbeing through building resilience within your nervous system to the stress we face daily, both in our personal and professional lives.

The session is being led by Laura Fowler-Watt, a certified trauma & nervous system coach, and will explore the mind and body connection as well as the stress response, providing tangible self-regulation tools that you can take away and start experimenting with in your own lives.

Having worked closely with creatives, Laura completely understands and empathises with the challenges that can be faced and hopes that this workshop will provide hope and support to anyone who might need it.

Tickets are priced at £5 each and can be purchased via our website.

It is becoming harder and harder to get a NHS diagnosis for ADHD (an issue that affects a lot of people in the creative industries), with some services even shutting their doors to new patients.

A BBC investigation finds that a host of areas in England are closing waiting lists and others are rationing care.
