A Heartfelt Farewell with Four-Legged Friends 🐾
We were honoured to help organise a truly special funeral recently, where some of the mourners had wagging tails and gentle paws.

The lady we were privileged to care for was well known in the community for her deep love of dogs—and had many of her own. The church where her service was held was part of her daily walking route, so it felt only right that dogs from the community joined their owners to walk with her one last time.

No two lives are the same - so why should their farewell be? At T H Sanders & Sons, we help families create unique, heartfelt goodbyes that reflect the true spirit of their loved one. From music and readings to personal touches, we’re here to help you honour their story.

Recently, our Roehampton branch arranged a beautiful horse-drawn hearse for a truly touching farewell. The family chose to walk alongside from our branch to their mum’s home, where more loved ones joined the procession. Together, they continued on foot to the church—a moving tribute filled with love, unity, and remembrance.
