I honestly didn’t think I’d have to say this, but… 🙈👇
Spraying water and chia seeds onto your face is NOT going to give you the same effect as anti-wrinkle injections ❌❌❌
Yes, chia seeds CAN absolutely have benefits when eaten as part of a healthy diet ✔️ They contain omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and fibre, all of which can support overall health and, indirectly, skin health too. A good diet can play an important role in supporting the skin from within 🫘
But that is very different from misting chia seeds and water onto your face and expecting injectable-like results.
At best, a spray like this may give a temporary, surface-level glow. And in videos like these, the “glow” is often far more likely to be from the moisture sitting on the skin than from the chia seeds themselves. We also do not know what other skincare, makeup or filters may have been used 👀
Anti-wrinkle injections work in a completely different way. They are administered by a medical practitioner into specific facial muscles to reduce movement, helping to soften expression lines for aesthetic or medical reasons. A topical spray simply cannot reach or affect that layer in the same way.
So no, the two are not comparable ❌
Social media is full of quick hacks and beauty claims, and while I have certainly seen more harmful misinformation than this, it’s still one I would recommend skipping! 🙈🚫🫘
