๐ Letโs talk about the three best countries to visit as a Deaf person โ๏ธ๐
Our deaf colleague Deeshi loves to travel, and these are her top picks when it comes to travel destinations โฆ๐
No. 1: Sweden ๐ธ๐ช
Most Swedish citizens are making efforts to help, and they try to communicate with Deaf people without hesitation. There are a multitude of outdoor activities to do, but for Deeshi, the highpoint was the ABBA Museum!โด๏ธ
No. 2: Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
Most people in Scotland treat Deaf people as they would anyone else, and even when some of them noticed that Deeshi and one of her friends had a cochlear implant, they went above and beyond to make sure that they were comfortable to converse with them. There are so many positives for Deaf people and Deaf tourists in Scotland, such as BSL translations on public transport, and accessible entertainment in museums.
No. 3: Spain ๐ช๐ธ
A great benefit for Deaf tourists in Spain is that they have sign language tours for Deaf tourists who would like to enjoy the great sightseeing in Spanish cities such as Madrid, Seville and other cities.
