🌸 A Thoughtful Moment That Matters 🌸

Vernon and Danielle have shared many beautiful years, but as dementia gently takes more from Danielle’s memory, special dates like anniversaries become harder to celebrate.

This year, Vernon shared how much he was struggling with the day, wanting to mark it, but heartbroken that Danielle no longer remembers.

Our carer, Jessica, did something simple yet meaningful. On behalf of Walfinch, she delivered flowers and a heartfelt card to let Vernon know he’s not alone — and to remind them both that their love and their journey are seen and respected.

Sometimes, it’s the quiet gestures that bring light on the hardest days. 💛
