Your first time having your eyes dilated?

If you’ve never had your pupils dilated before, you can’t be sure how your eyes will react. You will need to arrange for someone to drive you home if you are not on public transport or walking.

Bring sunglasses. Sunlight or any bright light may not harm your eyes when they’re dilated, but it can make them feel uncomfortable.

Six new research projects launch today! 🤩

🔬 Funded through the , the will accelerate the development of novel insulins.

🧪 Four of the projects will accelerate the development of insulins that react to changing glucose levels

🏃💨 One study will create an ultrafast insulin that will bring us closer to fully closed-loop systems that don't need input from the user

🤝 Another project will combine insulin and glucagon into one molecule to combat hypos

💙 All six new research projects have the potential to transform life with by keeping blood glucose levels more stable and reducing the mental burden of managing T1D.
