As the year comes to a close, I’m reminded that there is nothing more humbling than being present at the very beginning of life.
Every baby, every family, every birth — a moment of courage, love, and trust.
Thank you to the women and families who allowed me to walk alongside them in their most vulnerable and powerful moments.
Thank you to the teams who make this work possible, day and night.
