Last week Paul bearer visited the wonderful Maldon Fields Crematorium.

Last Week, Paul ventured out of London for first and only time last month and he wasn’t quite sure what to make of all the fresh air and open skies! 😅

His destination? The beautiful Maldon Fields Crematorium, a calm and dignified setting surrounded by wildflower meadows, rolling countryside, and a light-filled chapel that truly impressed him (once he stopped looking for a Tube station).

Big love from Paul, who’s now a big fan of the countryside life thanks to the experience at Maldon Fields Crematorium.

Last week we looked after a service that was gentle and intimate at Islington and St Pancras Cemetery Chapel, followed by a quiet committal.

We then had the privilege of returning the family to their beloved home — a place that has been in their care for an incredible 87 years.

A home filled with generations of memories, love, and legacy.

It was an honour to be part of such a meaningful day.

We had the honour of meeting a family directly at East London Cemetery for a small, intimate service. With simplicity and sincerity, we stood alongside them to remember and celebrate a cherished life.
Paul Bearer came along too, always there with a gentle presence.

We are proud to sponsor our friends at the Isle of Dogs Darts Club and we joined them this week for a brilliant evening of community spirit, laughter, and a little healthy competition!

Inspired by the party atmosphere of Ally Pally, the club invited friends, family, and locals to join in the fun, and of course, our very own Paul Bearer wouldn’t miss it for the world. He got stuck into the action (though we’re not sure he’ll be challenging Luke Littler any time soon!).

The highlight of the night? Young Lightening Leo, aged just four, who won the whole competition with ease, an incredible performance that left everyone cheering!

We’re honoured to sponsor such a great group who bring people together, and it was fantastic to see everyone having such a good time.

Community matters and we’re proud to be part of it.

This week, we had the privilege of helping keep cherished memories alive.

Lorraine, a much loved member of staff at Dartford train station, left a lasting impression on everyone she met. After a short illness, she sadly passed away last year, leaving behind two children, soon to be three grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Her colleagues at Southeastern wanted to honour her memory in a meaningful way and asked us to create a memorial plaque. We were honoured to help and insisted that, instead of payment, a donation be made to Ellenor Hospice, which was the local hospice that cared for Lorraine and helped keep her smiling during her final days.

Tuesday would have been Lorraine’s birthday, a fitting time to reflect, remember, and celebrate her life.

A simple plaque can spark beautiful memories and bring comfort, even on the hardest of days.

Paul Bearer’s Italian Getaway!

Even the hardest working bear needs a break now and then! Paul Bearer recently took some well earned annual leave and headed to beautiful Livorno, Italy. He spent some peaceful moments in Piazza del Municipio (also known as Piazza Grande) a historic square at the heart of the city.

Once the centre of the powerful Maritime Republic, the piazza is now home to the stunning Livorno Cathedral and Palazzo Grande. A truly serene spot for reflection, renewal, and a little sunshine.

Paul’s back with his paws recharged and ready to serve with kindness, compassion, and a little Italian flair!

We had the honour of providing a beautiful final journey with a pair of stunning white horses and one of our Mercedes limousines, travelling to West London Crematorium for a dignified cremation service.

Our beloved mascot, Paul Bearer, insisted on riding up front with the coachman Sonny Hillier Horse Drawn Carriages, he’s now considering a career change to head coachman.. We told him not to get too carried away.

It’s always a privilege to help families say farewell with grace and style, and we’re proud to offer such elegant options when it matters most.

Last week, we had the privilege of supporting a local family in Woodford as they said goodbye to a much loved lady.
The cremation service was held at the peaceful Forest Park Cemetery, where family and friends came together to share memories and pay their final respects.

We arranged a special personal touch a, custom coffin engraving of the West Ham United badge at the head of the coffin. It was a meaningful tribute to her lifelong passion for the team.

We believe it’s the little details that truly matter. That’s why we always go the extra mile to ensure every farewell reflects the life of the person being remembered. It’s a privilege to help families say goodbye in a way that feels personal, respectful, and right for them.

We had the honour of supporting a beautiful final journey with a dignified and elegant farewell.

A pair of majestic white horses and carriage led the way, accompanied by two limousines for the family. We collected loved ones from Walthamstow and travelled together to the City of London Cemetery for a heartfelt cremation service.

It’s a privilege to help families say goodbye in a way that reflects love, respect, and cherished memories.
