Hot Yoga, even when it’s getting hotter outside ☀️
Once you’ve completed a 38 degree heated class, the outside world will feel like a breeze.
Practicing hot yoga can help your body acclimate to hot weather through a process called heat adaptation or heat acclimatization. Here’s how it works:
1. Improved Thermoregulation
Hot yoga trains your body to regulate temperature more efficiently. You’ll start sweating sooner and more effectively, which helps cool the body down faster in real heat.
2. Increased Heat Tolerance
By consistently being in a heated environment, your body becomes better at handling heat stress. This can make being outside in hot weather feel a little less overwhelming.l.
3. Enhanced Cardiovascular Efficiency
Practicing in heat places more demand on your cardiovascular system, improving heart and lung function over time, beneficial when dealing with heat, which also increases cardiovascular load.
