Wimbledon NeuroCare will be the first in Europe to have the Auto-Traverse Rotary Chair by the beginning of next year.

Rotary chair testing is the gold standard for confirmation of suspected bilateral vestibular hypofunction but can also aid in the diagnosis of unilateral peripheral vestibular loss due to its high sensitivity.

It has the advantage of evaluating the vestibular system over a wide range of frequencies that provides clinicians with a more comprehensive insight into the vestibular system.

The electrodes will be attached to a small portable EEG recorder that can be clipped onto your clothing.

It doesn't interfere with most of your normal daily activities while the recording is being taken, although you'll need to avoid getting the equipment wet.

During an EEG test, electrical signals are recorded by a machine and are then looked at by a neurophysiology specialist to see if they're unusual.

The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of x-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895.
