Mark Lawler is a Professor of Digital Health at Queen’s University Belfast. Alongside his academic work, he also performs his acclaimed one-man show on James Joyce. On what would have been Joyce’s 144th birthday, prepare to be entertained, amused, enthralled and appalled (and perhaps all four at the same time ) as Professor Mark Lawler regales you with a riveting show of words, song and doggerel verse as he takes you into the mischievous world of James Joyce.

🏃‍♂️ This November, Adam Ewens is taking on the French Riviera Marathon, running from Nice to Cannes to raise money for Blood Cancer UK

This cause is incredibly close to his heart. Adam’s grandad, Eddie Woolner, is living with fibrotic myelodysplasia, a rare form of blood cancer. Watching Eddie face the daily challenges this condition brings has shown Adam how vital research and support are for people affected by blood cancer and their families.

The Lewes Little Theatre is bringing the much-loved Calendar Girls to the stage and they’ll be raising money for Blood Cancer UK

It promises to be a brilliant night out, all while helping fund vital research and support for people affected by blood cancer.

The West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Show has once again brought the community together to make a remarkable difference. This year’s event raised an incredible £13,569 for Blood Cancer UK, bringing the show’s total fundraising since it began to an outstanding £234,342 👏

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along, exhibited their cars, or volunteered their time to make the show such a success. Your generosity means that together you’re playing a vital part in helping to beat blood cancer.

A huge thank you to Ian for taking on an incredible swimming challenge to raise funds for Blood Cancer UK!

After being diagnosed with lymphoma in 2019, Ian made a full recovery and now wants to give back. Ian will be swimming the equivalent of the English Channel, 33km over four weeks this month. Oh, and did we mention that he'll be turning 70 shortly after!! Please join us in cheering Ian on 🏊‍♂️
