🗻 Ecuador Trek Training Update 🇪🇨 | Supporting Dementia Jersey 💜

As many of you know, Lynda Febers is taking on the incredible challenge of trekking through Ecuador later this year with — all in support of Dementia Jersey, a charity close to our hearts at Aurum Home Care.

Shoutout to the amazing Trudi Pilates Kelly at Eve Studios for putting our very own Lynda Febers and Lucy-Anne Febers — the dynamic mother-and-daughter duo behind Aurum Home Care — through their paces as part of a twelve-week fitness programme! 💪✨

Running a growing business takes stamina, focus, and resilience — and thanks to Trudi’s expert coaching, these two are stronger, fitter, and more energised than ever. It’s been fantastic to watch them rise to the challenge together!

We believe in supporting well-being both in the workplace and beyond, and this has been a brilliant reminder of what’s possible when women support women.

Earlier this week Melanie and Marian attended Dementia Jersey‘s Best Practice Dementia Care training and got so much out of he course. They were delighted to be the first people to gain their certificates. Thanks to all involved in delivering such an important course. 💜💙

Congratulations to Melanie and Marian from Aurum Home Care – the very first participants to successfully complete our brand new Best Practice Dementia Care (BPDC) one-day course for professional carers.

Our BPDC course is designed to give carers practical, person-centred strategies for supporting people with dementia – and the opportunity to earn 6 CPD points along the way.

🌅 Training Day at Aurum Home Care

Earlier this week, some of our dedicated team members took part in a valuable training session with Family Nursing & Home Care, focused on diabetes care. 💉

The session covered key areas including blood glucose monitoring, checking for ketones, and insulin administration — helping us provide the best possible support to those living with diabetes.
