Yesterday Lynda & Lucy-Anne Febers from Aurum Home Care Jersey attended Jersey Care Commission's Engagement Day 'Celebrating Success'.

They heard from Rebecca Sherrington and her team and a number of care industry colleagues about a range of projects that have made significant improvements to the way care is delivered in a number of settings. It was an opportunity to share best practice and come together to recognise the work of so many caring organisations.

The weather might be changing, but it’s still a great time to get outside, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy our beautiful island.

Lynda and Mia have been making the most of it by training for the Dementia Jersey Ecuador trek challenge by walking Jersey’s stunning north coast cliff paths to get ready.

They are taking on this adventure to raise funds for Dementia Jersey, as part of Team . Every step they take helps support people in our community who are living with dementia.
