A few months ago I noticed that a lady who sells fruits outside my office has been missing for some weeks. I inquired from one of our guards who later informed me that she had undergone an operation recently and was recovering at her home. I didn't even know her name.

So I tasked the guard to get me her line. After some days of looking for her line, the guard brought it to me. I immediately phoned her to find out how she was feeling and sent her a small "ka sumfing" (small token) to help her with small things at home as she recovers.

I continued checking up on her until she came back to sell the fruits outside my office. Upon hearing that it was my birthday on 15th September, she walked into my office and gifted me an apple and a tangerine as my birthday present.

I was and still greatly moved and humbled by her gesture. She has deeply touched my core. I am very grateful.
