We are researchers in the Psychiatry department of University College London. We are looking for volunteers aged 18-40 to participate in our study investigating how childhood trauma affects the way the mind works in adulthood.

You do not need to have experienced trauma in childhood or adulthood to be able to participate.

This involves 3-hour online behavioural tasks and 1-hour questionnaires that will be reimbursed £33 and you will also be entered into a £50 prize draw.

This involves 2 3-hour sessions, one online and one in our labs in London (£11.05p/h and all travel reimbursed)

We are researchers in the Psychiatry department of University College London. We are looking for volunteers to participate in our NHS approved study on hearing voices and feeling threatened.

**You may or may not hear voices and feel threatened to participate**

The first part is an online survey (£50 Amazon Prize Draw)

Subsequent parts if you are eligible include 3 hour paid online behavioural tasks and an fMRI scan in London! (£11.05p/h)

We are seeking adult volunteers with a history of childhood trauma (sexual abuse, emotional and physical abuse or neglect) for a study into the effects of cannabidiol (CBD) on how the brain processes information.

People with no history of childhood trauma can also participate.

Participants are required to not be currently using cannabis, or taking any medication for a mental health condition. Participation will be reimbursed with a minimum of £106.

We are particularly looking for volunteers who consider themselves to have had minimal or low exposure to childhood trauma to act as controls in our study.

We are studying how psychological trauma (e.g. physical, emotional, sexual abuse) during childhood could affect memory and decision-making in adulthood. This will involve completing online questionnaires and tasks on a computer from home.

Your participation is voluntary, anonymous and confidential, and will help contribute to research in psychiatry, which may help future individuals with mental health problems.

As a thank you for taking part, you will be entered into a £50 gift voucher prize draw.

Requirements: | Age 18-65 | UK | Fluent in English | No current diagnosis of a psychiatric disorder | Not currently taking any mental health medications | Access to a computer to complete the tasks on |

Ethical approval received from UCL Research Ethics Committee (Project ID number: 14317/001).

We anticipate this study to take approximately 50 - 60 minutes to complete. However, you will be able to take breaks in between questionnaires and tasks as needed.
