The Goddess pose is just one of the poses that are unique to Kemetic Yoga™. We introduced this for the first time yesterday in our Tuesday evening Kemetic (African) Yoga class at in Barking and these ladies did an excellent job embracing the energy of the pose.

We are also happy to announce that we will be running these classes every Tuesday 8-9pm for another 6 weeks up to and including 28th November.

Our Kemetic Yoga for beginners classes with Lee have been going really well. Our new students are loving their new self healing journey.

The classes have a perfect balance of both masculine and feminine energy and attract an equal number of male and female attendees.

There are still some places left if you and/or a friend or family members are interested in giving it a go. DM for more info or to book a class.

We have Tuesday evening 8-9pm classes at Boathouse Studios, Barking but will also we doing classes/ workshops in South and North London in the next couple of months.

Excellent day yesterday at .e1 with the crew. Black men leading the way and breaking the mould of what Yoga looks like in the UK. Making history and starting the movement 🙏🏾👊🏾

A very dynamic and rhythmic Afrikan Yoga session lead by followed by a liberating workshop.

I highly recommend you get on the next one in September and become part of the revolution👊🏾

We are super excited to be presenting a Kemetic Yoga™ workshop at the on 13th October at Alexandra Palace from 11:30am to 12:00pm.

If you are attending the you can find us in the Chakra Open Class area where you will be able to access this taster session for free. Operating on a first come first serve basis, just bring your own mat.

Cobi will also be presenting another class later in the day at 4:45pm so be sure to join us there for the day.

The London is excellent for all things Yoga and the biggest Yoga gathering in Europe, we highly recommend it.

We will also be running more intensive Kemetic Yoga™ workshops across London very soon so keep an eye on this space for more details.

The Pose of Immortality is the Root of the modern practice of Kemetic Yoga. This sacred posture is not found in any other form of Yoga.

The posture features classic isolation of the upper body from the lower. The upper body is profiled in a spinal twist position while the lower body is facing the opposite direction, bringing balance, strength and flexibility to the ankle, knee and hips.

This posture and it’s variations are uniquely Kemetic. Deities, priest and initiates, performing this pose can be seen carved in temples, in wall paintings and drawings or in sacred Kemetic Texts.

Kemetic Yoga originates from one of the oldest civilizations of Ancient Egypt in Northeastern Africa, Kemet.

Linking conscious movement and breath, Kemetic Yoga focuses on relaxation and meditation with much slower and soft-paced movements than in a standard yoga practice.

Kemetic Yoga is a series of progressive geometrical postures or flows that create alignment of the spinal column and correct defects in the skeletal and muscular systems to release stress, fatigue, or tension in the body.

This practice emphasizes the creation of healthy conditions through activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, healing the mind and body with soft-paced physical movements and yogic breathing.

This practice is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness 🙏🏾

The Goddess Pose - The Sacred Feminine

The Goddess MAAT represents universal harmony, balance, order, justice and unity.

The postures of Kemetic Yoga™ are unique. Many of them are triangular and mimic the geometrical configuration of the pyramid. Others match Gods and Deities which would be found in Hieroglyphs on the walls of the temples in Egypt.
